I've eaten here 4 times and it has been excellent each time. 6 of us showed up for dinner shortly before they closed last weekend and it didn't bother them at all! Had a fabulous waitress and the food was delicious. They had ran out of tofu so they substituted shrimp for me. They didn't rush us or skimp on the food and service. Cannot recommend this place enough. Fresh healthy food that is super tasty!!

Every dish we had was amazing. We can't wait to try more. We love seafood and have not had scallops cooked this perfectly. The calamari is some of the best I have had in Oregon. The flavors were exciting and perfectly paired. I had the beef pho the week before and appreciated the flavor of the broth and amount of meat. I will be back regularly for that as well.

I love this cute new spot! The food does not dissapoint and the decor has character. Service is good, though they sometimes seem a bit backed up. The Tom Yum aioli is so good and the raspberry basil cocktail was delicious. The only item I haven't liked so far was their french fries- everything else I would order again!

It should be no surprise that the owners of Da Nang food truck nailed it with Same Same. I had the pleasure of going here during brunch. The menu is incredibly unique and has just enough variety but not so much that you're overwhelmed by the choices. I went with two friends and we all enjoyed our dishes. I ordered the duck confit congee and requested an extra egg. Talk about a comfort meal! Filling, flavorful, and beautifully presented. It came with a side of grilled bread as well--love tasting the smokiness of a grill. The outside is deceiving as it's in a pretty run of the mill strip mall but the restaurant itself is bright, vibrant, and full of colorful art. Would definitely recommend this place and I'm excited to come back to try their dinner menu!

Cold… from the atmosphere to the actual temperature. They really need to do something to make this little strip mall restaurant feel warmer. We were freezing while we waited an hour for our food. We felt bad for our server because she was doing her best to keep people happy while the food took forever. We saw some people leaving. That never looks good. Now, when the food finally arrived (just before we walked out), it was very good. Hot and tasty. We probably won’t go back. But if you try this place, bring your winter coat and plan to be there a while.

Fantastic food! We had an absolutely lovely dinner at Same Same. The calamari, Henny ribs, Shui Mai, and chow fun was delicious. I wanted a bit more spice; if you're the same, ask for some chili garlic oil on the side. The desserts and cocktails are top notch too! We'll definitely be back. Very good service; causal ambiance.

While there was a bit of a wait for food, it was WELL worth it. The atmosphere was inviting and our server was very friendly. I don’t think you could go wrong with a single item on the menu, because it’s clear these folks know how to finesse some serious flavor. But I can confirm that you won’t wan’t to miss the Rendang Curry Puff appetizer…? We’ll be adding this spot to our top five favorites in the Eugene area and you should too.

Made a reservation on Saturday 6:30 for 4 people to celebrate my birthday. It was actually quite busy, this was my 2nd time coming to Same Same.We ordered our food after the waitress said the kitchen was quite behind on orders but I was excited to eat here again. Come to find out after we placed our food and app orders they were out of basically everything that we ordered. They only offer champagne by the bottle that costs $60 which was quite annoying. Also, they took Beef Rendang off the menu which was probably the biggest mistake they could have made. I can’t say I’ll be back because of this experience unfortunately. They are a new business and have a lot of issues to resolve before I think they could be really successful. The staff was kind and apologetic but we ended up leaving and going to Ta Ra Rin and had a great dinner with affordable drinks instead.

After our Ginger Scallion lunch, we went back for dinner and took our brother and sister in law. It was even better. I had the sweet and sour pork chop and it was perfectly cooked and perfectly spiced. My wife had the Laksa soup and enjoyed the remainder for lunch the next day. My brother in law had the fried rice and loved it. My sister in law had the ribs (I almost did that because we had heard so much about them). She thought they were incredible. The meat just fell off the bones. Yup, we're going back again.
Every dish I tried was delicious. My favorite were the ribs, they were so soft and the perfect mix of savory with a bit of sweet. The sando was perfect and the fries paired well. I usually am not a big fan of fried rice, however, this dish was very good and the green onion and beans balanced it out well. Finally, the vegan laksa hits the soul with very flavorful notes. Ambiance was nice, could be casual or a nice date night. There was only one server, so please be patient, but she was awesome! Will be coming back to share the experience!

Delicious food, good service, nice atmosphere and I really enjoy an Asian fusion experience. If you like Chinese, Korean, or Vietnamese dishes, they are here, served beautifully with delicious seasonings. I've returned three times since I first went a few months ago. Highly recommend!!

-Attentive and kind staff -Good variety/menu. There's seems to be something for everyone. -High-quality ingredients and food As someone who grew up in the San Gabriel Valley, I was pleasantly surprised by the duck congee. Since there is not as much variety of Asian food compared to where I grew up, I frequently crave certain dishes my family/grandparents made or from restaurants in SGV. The duck congee was comforting and nostalgic to me, but it was also something new and delicious. The usage of Arborio rice made the congee almost risotto-like. The broth, duck and every part of the dish was flavorful and well-cooked without being too salty or heavy. I will be back to try other items on the menu, especially ones that I have never seen even back in California, such as the pandan chicken and waffles and chicken pho pot pie.

I wouldn't eat here again with my enemies mouth. Horrible service and the food is subpar. The first time we went to eat here we were very excited as we had been told by a friend that it was great. I called and asked if we needed reservations for two, "just come on in, we have plenty of room." Upon arrival I was told there would be a 30 minute wait, "give us your phone number and we will call you." So I did and we went to Goodwill to wait, 45 minutes later I haven't received a phone call so we walked back over to see what's up. "Oh! We tried to call you, we must have missed dialed." Okay so can we sit down now? I asked. We were seated and told they were super busy even though there were many seats available. We asked if we could order some appetizers, "sure!" And then another server came over and scolded our server and said "no! We are too busy, they have to wait." WTAF? When we finally got our food it was decent but not great. We left feeling like maybe they had an off night. A couple months later I was in the area with my 11 year old daughter and decided to give them a second chance. Nope! Still a total disappointment. Just don't bother wasting your time and money it's a -10.
