Took my daughter to Sy's while visiting U of O this weekend. They have a light, fluffy, delicious crust. I never eat crust (because we usually have Papa John's or other chain pizza pies) but I ate my whole slice and then licked my fingers.

Very very special. Possibly the best Mexican food in Oregon. It will be hard to find this intimate spot but well worth the hunt. The cocktails are fantastic. The key lime pie is award winning. The enchiladas redefine the word. Everything here is five stars.

Excellent! From the margarita, chips and salsa and Mojo fish. Funky small ever changing menu with absolutely beautifully prepared food! Can't wait to go back and take others! Don't miss this opportunity for the best food with a heavy Mexican influence. (I'm from Texas so I know my Mexican food). Katie was awesome!

How can this place say they are a restaurant when you go there at lunch and they say they aren't a restaurant (all the time?) but they are doing some dinners at times. When you go to their link to their website they are a BOX delivery food service to your home. WHAAAA? A chain business that isn't a restaurant should not be classified as a restaurant.

I love Saucefly. The pop-up dinners are my favorite date night destination. The food is always epic & plentiful, with cocktail pairings to delight every palate. I always make a reservation ahead & enjoy everything about the experience. My favorites are always the Mexican-inspired Foods, but everything is delicious. A lovely, romantic date or best friend dining adventure.

Tried this place for the first time ever for my birthday lunch. Margs were on point and food was really good! Definitely want to try for dinner soon! You won't be disappointed with the atmosphere. Small and quaint, but with a very authentic Latin flare

This place is a very small and homey restaurant. I came here with my boyfriend and were happy with the food. Delicious I'm very picky about Mexican food because my mom cooking skills is very skilled. This passes for good Mexican food. My boyfriends order fish tacos and left nothing on his plate.

I got the chicken taco plate. The chicken included cartilage and bones in it. It was devoid of flavor. A total disappointment. The margarita was predominantly water. They need to seriously up their game.
My husband and I tried Saucefly tonight and had high hopes based on past experiences with Sarah's previous restaurants. First of all, the menu is very limited (we were there just before 5); pretty much tacos and salads only. We started with chips, salsa and guacamole. The guacamole was quite good and one of the salsas was my old favorite from Red Agave. I enjoyed it very much. The chips were oily but still tasty. For our meal, I ordered greens with pork Baja style. My husband ordered a taco plate. My salad was drenched in oil and it had no flavor. The dressing was essentially oil with a small amount of seasoning that was not flavorful enough to overcome the bland oil. The pork was fatty and flavorless. I added sauces, which were quite tasty but still could not overcome the blandness of the actual food. I didn't eat most of it. My husband's taco plate was mostly rice and beans with a little pork and chicken - hardly any meat. The homemade tortillas were tasty but needed more meat for three tacos. The margaritas were very good so we decided to have a second. The second was not near as good as the first and we ordered the same thing. $68 later (not including tip), not sure we will be back.

When you eat here you taste the love and memories in the food. The drinks are awesome, the food is legit, and the space is great(especially on a sunny day).

This place is FLIPPING AMAZING. The food was so good I took one bite and proceeded to stuff my mouth. Flavors on point. Awesome sauce. Also best carrot cake of my entire life. I am excited about this place. Mixed drink was way too expensive so I'll be avoiding those.

Small little place with just a couple of tables inside and some more in the front outside. I hear they will be opening the back area for dinner sometime soon. I was pleased but not overwhelmed with my lunch choice of brioche with shredded pork but really wanted their steak, which they were out of. The bread was a bit too heavy for a brioche and it was more of a bun than a true brioche but the pork was tasty. My lunch partner had the enchiladas which she raved about. Why I don't give them 4 or 5 stars: when I walked in, the verbal and none-verbal reception was far from friendly. None but one of the tables, which was right at the bar, were cleaned and I was given the impression of being a "bother" to ask for one of the other tables to be cleaned so we could use it. Also, no one told me that you order your food at the "bar" area and there are no signs for it anywhere. Fortunately my friend knew this since she had been here before. One person helping/serving/taking orders hardly seems efficient to me. The food did not make up for the lack of service or lack of welcoming vibe. Maybe I will have better luck next time, dinner perhaps.

I am at a loss of words. WHERE HAS SAUCE FLY BEEN!!? There are no words. We sadly are moving this weekend after years in Eugene and we are DEVASTATED that this amazing place has opened just as we leave. THIS IS AN ESTABLISHMENT I would travel back to visit JUST to dine here in years to come. We've tried every (and I mean EVERY) Mexican restaurant in Eugene and consider ourselves quite well versed when it comes to dining and experiences around the country and world and can confidently say nothing here in town holds a single candle to this incredible establishment. Our entire party was not just pleased but raved for hours after. Will be back tomorrow night on our last night in town and cancelling our other reservation at a place we've loved JUST yo make sure we get to dine here once more. Wow wow wow!!
