Food was mediocre at best. Portions were pathetic. The place looked a bit run down. I used the restroom, and got locked in and struggled for a out 15 minutes to get back out. I had to jimmy the lock to get free. When I confronted our server about the shotty locks on the door, he shrugged it off, but went to inspect it anyway, and came back with the answer that the locks worked fine, and gave me a dismissive glance when I told him they most definitely did not. I imagined being in that bathroom during a fire, and wondered if I would come out of it alive. We were asked what we were drinking our response was water. With an eye roll he went to get our water. We ordered between the two of us a "Flatbread pizza" (basically a pizza on a cracker). It was pathetic in size and was awful. Again our server gave an eye roll at the fact we did not order more. I will never go back to this dump. They should be ashamed to call themselves a restaurant 🙄

why on earth do you charge $1.50 to split a ginormous $20 sandwich? Its literally like 4 servings of food.

I enjoyed Two Superb Glasses of Pinot Noir. They were 7 dollars. it is very much worth it for the atmosphere and the excellent Pinot Noirs in Oregon. May have to try the recommended French Dip with the World's Best Pinot from Oregon.

Food is absolutely wonderful, but for the price, not justifiable. The service however is terrible; prepare to be insulted.

Worst food and wack ass service. Don’t bother going here it’s a waste of time and money.
I definitely come here for vibes. Very friendly staff, and I love the "crusty" atmosphere. I can be my true goblin self.

My girlfriend and I were just in today, was relatively slow when we ordered our sandwiches (meatball sub and toasted Italian) meatball sub was perfect but the toasted Italian came with all the subtractions we asked not to have on it anyways with the addition of mayo. Not wanting to make a fuss about it in person she just didn't eat it and we left, hopefully next time the cooks take more care when reading the notes on the tickets I know the server wrote.

Good food, well made. However it is expensive due to the portions being ridiculously huge. My sandwich had so much meat on it that it was gross, I removed half of the meat and ate it that way

This place is amazing! It is the place to get a sandwich in Eugene.
It is a bit smaller and does have a small staff, but I have been impressed with the food every time I've gone

If I want to share my food with someone. I'm gonna share it without being charged to share sorry
Was in town for an art show and found the most amazing sandwich shop. When you walk in the most amazing smell hits you. We set at the bar and had the best conversation with the bartender even though we were not a regular. The French dip is amazing and the make a killer Long Island ice tea! Just make sure not to sit in the splash zone! 10 out of 10. Will eat here next time I’m in town.

We just shared a French dip - big enough for two, fabulous meat, bread and true stock au jus; also good pure horseradish. The back seating is lovely and the drinks were great! Really sad we are just passing through. I will make note for our next trip through Eugene!!

Food was plain lot of meat but my Philly was missing peppers and flavor. Servers weren't very talkative if ur not regularly there. Felt a bit cold. Might of been a bad day to go. But the price didn't match the food so I won't be going back.
