Good ingredients, it seems, but nothing special. Restaurant owner is nice.

I had a biscuit with egg and jamon. Biscuit was so deliciously handmade. Egg was perfectly cooked. Coffee was good, not great. The people working here were the loveliest. Warm and welcoming.
I was surprised by it not being open on a Sunday as we had hoped for a repeat performance. I’d go 4.5 stars if I could, for the coffee knock, but honestly, it’s deserving of the 5.

Stopped here for a quick coffee and pastry and it was delicious and very reasonably priced. They have a large variety of bakery items too! I definitely recommend this place and would go back.

So I was in town looking for a local place to eat and do some schoolwork, I found this little gem and was excited I did , i initially just wanted some coffee but after hearing the dinner menu I was intrigued.

I ordered the potato and onion soup with homemade sourdough bread, lamb chop with Brussels sprouts and potatoes and an apple hazelnut bunt cake.

First off the staff was amazing, I truly enjoyed my conversation with them and enjoyed they seemed genuinely interested in learning about me also. The potato and onion soup was amazing, I truly appreciate the starchy texture with the perfect balance of onion. The sourdough was good i loved the depth and bounce of the bread but would have preferred it a little warm.

The lamb was delicious and seasoned well , the texture was enjoyable with the meat melting as i ate it , not very gamey which was very nice, the portions of potatoes and Brussels sprouts could have been better, the sprouts were a bit overcooked giving them a bitter flavor.

The Apple Hazelnut bunt cake I had for dessert was not pleasant. The cake seemed old , it was very dry , lacking structural depth because it just crumbled. The flavor of fridge was very slight indicating to me it probably wasn’t that fresh .

Even with the lack of certain aspects of flavors or portion sizes I would definitely recommend trying this establishment.

Went to Hideaway today at 12:30 and waited a half hour to put in our order, and right when we got to the front of the line, they told everyone that their kitchen is backed up and we couldn’t order food. Seriously? Maybe tell the people at the back of the line, but we had been waiting for so long! Manage your kitchen - this should never happen! Otherwise, they have great food and bread.

I don't know how it took me so long to stumble onto this charming place, but it has excellent food, all of it made from scratch, great service and is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. For lunch, you have cafe or pizza options. Their wood-fired vegan pizza is excellent (Aristocrat). For dinner, it feels like a neighborhood European bistro with a rotating list of specials - my husband loved the scallops, and I love the fresh pasta. The owner and the people who work there are great. Highly recommend.

Hidden gem. Tucked in the corner of a small shopping center, but definitely worth the visit.

We had an amazing dining experience at Seize The Cafe. The staff was so welcoming, genuine and friendly. The at home atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. The service was spot on. But the most wonderful thing about this gem of a restaurant, is the food. Clearly Chef Chad loves food. You can taste it in every bite. He is skilled in creating scrumptious flavors and unbeatable meals. Can't wait to go back! and don't hesitate to order pie and ice cream to round out your meal. Both homemade and absolutely out of this world.

The best chef in town, along with excellent service and friendly attitudes, make this restaurant stand out, together with The excellent food. The menu changes weekly and offers a diverse selection of dishes from various cuisines, including Italian, Catalan, and Spanish. Prices are affordable and provide great value for the quality of the food. This is the best restaurant in Eugene by far. The ingredients are aromatic, the doughnuts are homemade, and the coffee has a wonderful flavor. Stop by and tried yourself! Enjoy the experience!
