Went there with my father on November 8th, 2025. We had a reservation. My father called 2 days prior and confirmed reservation. Upon arriving, we were told there was no reservation. Talked to manager and we were told that his staff were completely trustworthy and mistake could not have been made. Therefore, implicating my father was lying. Talk about customer is always first. Not at this place!

A wonderful neighborhood cafe in South Eugene with excellent and flavorful food and always friendly, great service! I love their soups, sandwiches, and baked goods. I visit routinely, as I work within walking distance and everything I have tried, I have enjoyed. The owners are kind, hard-working people and I love what they are doing!

A well lit, not too loud, chill place to hang out and have a coffee for decent prices. I highly recommend the quiche, but get there early because I overheard at least 3 people trying to order after it sold out for the day!

Food was super bland. They didn’t even have any salt or pepper on tables. Not sure what their speciality is but it’s not good tasting food. Maybe it’s coffee. Not sure. Even the potato salad was just potato wedges with mayo. lol far from a potato salad anyone imagines when you think of it. 10/10 won’t come again.

Memorie Holiday (She Her)
I am on a mission to try every coffee shop and coffee stand in town, and today I visited Seize the Cafe and I will DEFINITELY be back. They have a variety of food options, from doughnuts to pastry to quiche and there's also the attached Pizza shop next door (though the pizza side was closed today so no comment on that). I got a 16oz pistachio rose oatmilk latte which was surprisingly delicious! I'm not usually a pistachio fan but I am glad I have it a try because it was a wonderful treat. I also got a Cardamom swirl pastry which was hard not to wolf down it was so yummy. Atmos was wonderful and welcoming on this rainy spring morning. I'll definitely be back once I make my Coffee shop passport to get it stamped. Though that's not the only reason.
I love it here. Some of the employees are really nice and friendly. One is always grumpy but at least she is consistent.

I consider this a must-go cafe when visiting Eugene. I adore the duck confit sandwich, with its perfect balance of savory meat, sweet tang from caramelized onions, and a touch of spice from the Dijon.

Food was fresh and delicious! It was also fairly priced and decent servings.The homemade pasta with blue cheese cream sauce and cauliflower, bread w/ butter and daily salads were to die for! They also had a delicious cheesecake selection (basque and goat cheese w/ blueberry/basil compote). Wine was good as well.
Our server was so sweet and took care of us well. The space itself is small, but not too small where it feels tight. Overall, the space and decor is simple, rustic and provides a home-like feel to it. Will definitely come back again!

Best place to bring loved ones to show how much they mean to you. Amazing food plated before your eyes (depending on where you’re seated), pasta dough rolled out, portioned and cut in sight as well. Felt like home but tasted upscale. Nothing but complements and adoration to the staff!
