Food is always good. But they were out of a TON of food items. (Steak, Queso cheese, drinking glasses...etc)
The lady that was SUPPOSED to wait on us was REALLY disrespectful to another co worker IN FRONT of a customers table. This waitress was from Springfield sharies. Tammi who is absolutely a dlight to have as a waitress, she was trying to help her co worker out by bringing a drink to the table this co worker was waiting on and right in front of the customers she told Tammi, next time let me get my own table. My mouth dropped. I went up to the host that took me to my table and I asked her if I could switch Waitress as the other one was super rude. And the Rude waitress said Ithe the host, " Sharing is caring I wouldn't mind if you took that table" (my table) so we had MUCH better service. Sharies was NOT busy. There were like 4 5 tables being used. There was absolutely no reasoning for her disrespect.

They are not doing well. Are likely to close very soon. They have not had pie to sell for several weeks. Most food items are not available. Staff shops at the grocery store because they are not receiving food delivery from their wholesale supplier.

Thank you and THANKS ?
This was like eating at grandmas house, a home cooked meal. Good size portions, fresh eggs, sausage was very tasty and the has browns were cooked just right. This place is on my favorites list now. So delicious.

Ever time I come here I end up sitting at the front for a significant amount of time. It's like the servers don't know how to manage their time or something. I worked for Sharis for several years as a waiter. Should have no problem getting the counter or seating new guests in a timely manner. The last few times I was in was for little stuff like a pie and shake and it took close to half an hour both times. The service is poor and the ladies who help at the front act like you are some sort of inconvenience or something.
Parking: Santa Clara location is not great for parking but the others have ample space.
Wheelchair accessibility: Couple wheelchair spots right up front and nice wide entrances for accessibility.

On weekdays, my wife and I eat dinner early. Laura is our favorite food server. She is amiable. She follows up while we are sitting, and the service is prompt and always kind. They make a very good pie. We frequently get the Marie Calendar frozen pies from Walmart, which cost around half as much as a Shari's pie. When we choose a flavor at Walmart other than chocolate silk, banana, or lemon mirange, Shari's flavor is well worth the cost. Walmart's baked pumpkin pie, available in-store, has a thicker, meatier filling than Shari's incredibly fluffy one. The building's booths are ripped, and its dirty windows face the street. They ran out of food a few days before our most recent visit, and there are reports that they may close soon. Our view is that Shari's has been compelled by the devastation caused by inflation to provide greater pricing for smaller portions made with lower-quality products. Greetings from Bidenomics. the contemporary norm. The eatery is not to blame for this. Food packages from the grocery store are more expensive, smaller, and contain less food overall. I think the phrase is shrinkflation. Shari's on Division Avenue, Eugene, OR is highly recommended. All I can hope for is that they make it through and go back to their most prosperous times.
Super busy food is mediocre and the video poker machine sucked

Went at Dinner time. Was craving Chicken fried steak and eggs. Ordered off the smaller appetites menu. Restaurant was very warm and I was told the AC was not on. 5 tables occupied and it took me 25 mins to get my food. Waitress was apologetic. Food was overcooked except the toast. Hash browns 75% burnt. Chicken fried steak was so overcooked I could hardly get my fork through it and gravy was obviously canned. To top it off music was so loud it was uncomfortable. I was paid up and gone in basically 5 mins after food arrived. I don’t think they are going to last.
