After shopping at Costco, I visited this place for a quick beer and it seems like a great bar to watch sports games. There are various sizes of TV screens available and the bar layout is excellent. For those who want a quieter meal, there are tables set up in another area. I think it's a place worth recommending, and I plan to visit again in the future.

We were told we could not enter because the bar was at “capacity”, which meant there were no seats available (plenty of standing room). We stopped just to watch the 4th quarter of the Duck game.
We waited for quite awhile before anyone came over to help us, and the server was so rude when we asked about specials. The two servers behind the bar were too busy on phones to bring drinks, one was either very drunk or high, spilling drinks and slurring speech. The atmosphere was smug and hostile, when our order came some was cold and under cooked. Burgers were almost raw and cold, cheese barely melted. With such high prices on food and drink, you would expect greatness, not such crap. The place seemed like the staff and friends private bar and are rude to anyone not in their clique. Never again.

Never a dull time at Side Bar! Abby and Liesel are the best bartenders in Eugene, hands down. You're treated like family as soon as you walk in the door whether it's your first time being there or millionth (like ours). Even after a year of not being there, we still walked in and were greeted by Dallas with a big ol smile and remembered us by name. Love this bar and it's people!

I get lunch from here often, introduced my boss to this spot, and she is a big fan. I personally love their Western burger. My boss loves their Reuben. I went here a few time when I still drank alcohol and from what I remember, they were good. The bartenders are friendly, and there is plenty of space and booths/tables available. Good atmosphere, friendly people.

I ordered the yakisoba noodles. The chicken was hot and really good, but served on cold noodles. I wouldn't recommend that dish, especially not at $17.50!
