Reflecting on my experience a week or two ago, the bartender with the long black hair has really obviously no prior bartending experience and I'm pretty sure only knows how to drink the alcohol rather than make it, but the attempt was honorable

Great place for a slice of pizza right in the middle of downtown Eugene. Full bar with a good selection of beers on tap. Large slices of pizza so one or two pieces is plenty when your hungry. They have a couple pinball machines to throw quarters at. Late night karaoke the last time I was there.

While I love Slice in the Whit, Slice downtown has much left to be desired. While the pizza is good, the service is lackluster. After ordering our food, we were told to order drinks at the bar. But no one came to serve us. Our pizza arrived, and other customers who arrived 20 min after us were served by an employee, who couldn’t actually do anything for them because he wasn’t licensed to serve liquor. I’m not putting any blame on the wait staff though, they were clearly understaffed and deep in the weeds. If an establishment wants to run a restaurant, they need to set their employees up for success by giving them enough bodies to do the job.

They refused any bar service to our party because we had a child in the group.

It’s nice enough for us to sit outside. I was greeted promptly and kindly. Ordered food and cider in seperate interactions service was efficient both times. We walked down here after WALKING IN to Osteria Dop and being rudely told they don’t open til five. The crust is crispy the dough with enough chew to support the toppings but not sog through. Sauce on both vegan and vegetarian pizza was decadently savory.

Looks like they were short staffed but even with that the person that helped me was great. She told me exactly how long the pizza was going to take. Was very friendly. The place is pretty big. I ordered the fungus amongus with extra mushrooms and vegan cheese. It came out delicious. I would order from here again. I give it a four stars instead of five because I heard conversations that I should not be hearing as a customer.

Fun atmosphere and great energy. Lots of options for by the slice pizza.
I had a slice of Margherita today. Reheating the slice kills all of the basil flavor when it's already been cooked in the first bake. It would be better to put it on the pie fresh after initial bake and before reheating.
My slice of the basic was great. The house sauce is good. Crust is good.
Big slices and reasonable. 2 fat slices and 20% tip was $12.
Also, Margherita was very garlic forward. Plan for smelling like garlic for 8hrs. Yum!

I had a great experience there and the staff was very friendly. I dropped my pizza on the way to my table and they gave me a new one for free. Four stars because I'm lowkey embarrassed about dropping my slice.

I love that there are ready vegan slices. It was a brussel sprout pizza and so good! I also had a delish margarita. I'll be stopping by again.

Fresh ingredients and great crust makes a tasty pizza! Nice bar and great Pinball machines. Customer service is fantastic. Great for lunch or after a show since they are open late.
