When I’ve gone in there it’s usually pretty busy so the food takes a while to come out, and the people ringing me up never seem to be in a very good mood, but the pizza is absolutely bomb so it’s worth the wait.

Pizza is reliably good and decent priced, but the service is painfully slow. My friends ordered some fountain drinks and were standing at the counter for close to 5 minutes before the employee wandered over. I ordered a slice to go and it took over 10 minutes despite the pizza sitting right in the window and there being no line. There also was not enough tin foil to actually cover the slice of pizza.
It has been this slow every time I have come here if not worse. I still come here when it's the best option, but be aware that if you're in any sort of time crunch you should just skip it.

As many others have said, this place has highly variable service. Some days you walk in and order and you get a nice slice and salad within 5-10 min. Other times you walk in and every table is dirty, there are no customers or staff to be seen, the music has stopped, and when you do order it takes 30 minutes and a complaint to get the to-go slice.
Also as others have said, if you express any frustration about any aspect of the experience they will berate you and perhaps even cause some sort of self-inflicted scene. For example, yelling at you as you leave. The attitude isn’t helped by the fact the people that are around are fluctuating between maybe-working, maybe-hanging-out the front with their friends. Maybe it’s me who needs to chill, but sitting for 30 min in a silent grungy pizza place isn’t exactly worth $4. The pizza is, however, good. Maybe the move is to observe some people who’ve already ordered and see if their food is coming out. If so, order. If not, come back another time? I’m still trying to refine the recipe to figure it out.
Because it’s open late and it’s in a good location it’s really unfortunate that the place can’t seem to get it right.

Slice is on the way home from work for me and I’ve given them a fair shot on 3 separate occasions. Once on my lunch break I ordered just a slice and they completely forgot my order and I waited 30mins before I had to inform them.
The next time I ordered a whole pizza to take home and I realized when I got home there is like no sauce on the pizza it was very dry and I felt I wasted my money.
The third time I ordered a black olive pizza with extra marinara to make sure it was not dry. I get home and have a bite and it’s like they took a quarter cup of sauce and spread it across the pizza. Will never be coming back you need to hire some pizza chefs instead of stoner college students

Great food at a great price. The staff is generally miserable. I have had a few good experiences with staff, but mostly it’s obvious they do not care for their job and have no interest in customer interactions. I have often been ignored for quite a while waiting at the front counter and the bar. When approached to take my order, they are super unprofessional and I can tell they couldn’t care less. I always tip and am not an unpleasant customer. I love this place! But customer service is such a bummer!

The cashier would not speak to me. I said not to heat up my slice so she handed me an ICE COLD veggie slice. Then it took 15 minutes to heat up and she gave me the wrong slice. Wow.

The service was okay and it had a good vibe but the food was pretty disappointing. The croton crackers on the salad were stale. The pizza was dried out but also insanely greasy, with the edges also being burnt. They also really need to clean the soda machine.

Love the downtown vibe sometimes. I miss the chaotic music of Sizzle Pie, but it's otherwise pretty much the same. Good pizza at a good price. Definitely should offer a LUNCH SPECIAL or a slice, side salad and drink for a decent price.
Only complaint, someone could definitely be more Johnny on the spot about wiping down tables.
