Finally a place that doesn't put sugar in their alternative milk.

What a little gem over by the oakway center!
The atmosphere, employees and drinks were all amazing.
Immediately noticed how clean the inside was. Each product they carried looked local and high quality (specifically blue lotus chai and J-tea).
Jeffery and Levi made my coffee (recommended the Chagaccino) and it was perfect. It had very velvety milk and creamy espresso shots. It was not overly flavorful but just right.
My one note would be how busy I noticed it was, so I could see that they probably have limited seating during winter. It looked like they have lots of outside seating in summer though!
Overall, I was just really impressed by this little cafe and will be stopping by again!

Saw that Soko reopened and was selling tailored coffee so I gave it a try. I thought it would be good because they have a nice espresso machine, but I was very disappointed. I got a 20oz vanilla latte and it tasted like bitter milk, so ended up dumping the whole drink down the drain. The customer service wasn’t the best either, vibes were completely off

Fill up the cup! 2/3 full is not leaving room for cream 😭

Overall, I enjoyed my visit here! The staff was super nice and welcoming. The shop itself is also super bright, warm and inviting. My only con was my coffee unfortunately. The taste was bitter and had a burnt aftertaste. Despite that, I would probably still go back.

Literally the world’s best coffee shop. Hands down. Period. End of story.

Vegetarian options: If you’re a vegetarian, you won’t have any issues finding something delicious and nutritious!

Dietary restrictions: I get really bad diarrhea if I have any kind of dairy product. They have options that let me enjoy my favorite drinks without getting diarrhea later.

Parking: It’s free, it’s close, it’s perfect, it’s parking at SOKO!

Kid-friendliness: It’s the most amount of kid friendly. Their hot chocolate is perfectly temperatured so my kid doesn’t burn his mouth. ALSO! One time my son left his pack of dinosaurs inside the shop and as we were getting into our car, the store manager came out and hand delivered them to us!

Wheelchair accessibility: It’s really accessible to wheelchairs. Like if you’re in a wheelchair. You won’t have any issues accessing the shop.

Soko really does a great job filling the desire for a nice, specialty coffee shop on this side of town. Great atmosphere, family friendly, perfect for on the go or to come sit for a while.
