How do you mess up eggs Benedict? Make sure the sauce has no flavor but a slight hint of bacon grease and don't forget to overcook the eggs so that the yolk is a hard boiled egg. Never again.

The gravy tasted like it was out of a can and the smoked salmon was so dry💔

It’s astonishing how something so bland can be so expensive. I have never been so disappointed with a breakfast in my entire life. I ordered the Benedict, when I cut into the poached egg I was greeted with a river of uncooked egg whites. There was more uncooked whites than yolk. I was basically eating an unseasoned egg white soup with spinach from a bag floating around. All for an eye watering $18… please save your taste buds the trauma and just go to Brail’s.

Disappointing. At first we thought the food was just bland, but as we continued to eat we noticed stale rice, unnaturally pink sausage, and what seems to be rust in the clogged salt shaker. Incredibly disgusted, especially at this price point. Not to mention they were completely out of fruit. On a Sunday morning? I hope that the management pays closer attention to the cleanliness of their restaurant.

Food just reallyyyyy needs some flavor. People are friendly and service was quick! But I would choose elsewhere for breakfast.

Saskia took care of us and was super friendly. Which basically means she laughed at my stupid jokes politely. Great experience all the way around. Biscuits and gravy for me. Others had some kind of Benny and a burrito. Everyone loved their breakfast. I’m certain of our return. Given our daughter’s dorm location. Can’t wait for next trip. Nicely done, Studio One.

We stopped by on our way from Portland to Crater Lake and tried the Morning Star and Northern Light. It was honestly the best breakfast I’ve had in a while (even the fruit was sooo good!). The servers were all kind and welcoming, and the quiet atmosphere combined with the sunny weather made it perfect. If I come back to Eugene, I’d definitely love to visit again.

What a lovely spot for breakfast! My table had French toast, eggs Benedict and a table pancake. All of it was delicious! The coffee was also especially good and well brewed. Service was fast, friendly and very attentive.

Special shoutout to Dominic who was a solo server while I was there and managed to keep a full house of tables happy!

I don’t live in Eugene but next time I visit I’ll be back here again!

I’ve been coming here for a few years and the food used to be okay. A bit over priced but not outrageous for what you typically expect from an attempted hipster joint near campus. I went today for my birthday and ordered the Spanish dancer omelet which is what I usually get. It was drowned in pico and completely inedible. So spicey and soggy it was like trying to eat a jar of salsa straight. The waitress didn’t come back to our table until everyone else was already done eating. So when they offered to remake it of course I said no. Why would I want to sit and wait forever to eat alone holding up everyone else? They refused to take it off the bill. I paid almost $20 for a jar of salsa I couldn’t eat. I definitely won’t be back.

Let me start by saying: you will pay too much for mediocre. I ordered the Big Easy Benedict, promised Cajun hollandaise with eggs, cheddar, tomato, and spinach on English muffins—for $6.25, which on paper looks reasonable. But the execution? Two underwhelming poached eggs that were barely warm, spinach that tasted wilted, and hollandaise sauce so odd I suspect it was straight out of a jar.

My companion had the Spanish Dancer scramble (three eggs mixed with peppers, onions, mild chile, salsa and cotija)—priced at $8.75. Instead of vibrant flavors, we got bland soggy eggs drowning in salty salsa. I’ve had tastier microwaved eggs that cost a quarter of that.

Now, about the staff “service”:

We waited 20 minutes for menus, during which our table got moved and the staff barely glanced our way.

It took another 15 minutes to get water and coffee, which arrived lukewarm and half-filled.
Loyal Google reviewers often mention friendly and prompt waiter, but apparently everyone else had a good day.

When we politely asked to fix the Benedict, our server shrugged and muttered, “That’s just how it comes.” No apologies. No offer to remake.
