I’m writing this as I sit waiting for my sandwich , at lunch time. I’ve currently been waiting 40 minutes for a cold sandwich. There is still 3 people ahead of me who have been waiting for ????
There is 1 employee working. She’s not fast , and should definitely have assistance. She’s trying but has also made errors on the last 3 orders.
Total failure on management/owner ship having 1 person in , that can’t keep up with orders.
Previous ownership would have 2-4 people working lunch. Working people do NOT have hours to wait for a sandwich

First off the Owners are amazing people! Some of the nicest people I've met in this town. Kind as could be. The woman that made our sandwiches was awesome too! Truly great people here and the Subs are the best I've ever had by far and I've lived in many states from coast to coast. Do yourself a favor and come here, grab a sandwich and relax. I promise you'll want to thank me later.

Food definitely looked better than it taste. Portions were generous but overall flavor was disappointing. Bread was stale and service was pretty slow.

Bought a ham/salami sandwich on wheat bread today for lunch. Lots of meat, lettuce and the works. However the bread was stale and far from fresh. Would give 4 or 5 stars for service, however, the employee who prepared the sandwich must have known that the bread was stale. ~$10 plus tip wasted. Won’t go back.

Ignore the pedantic negative reviews, they are obviously staged by the competition. Now that’s out of the way, one of the saddest days was when Sub Shop shut down due to the pandemic (government OWES all small biz owners for this stupid slip). Anyway, when I saw they reopened, I was skeptical, I always order the same thing- the Destroyer, an amazing sandwich that turns into two meals! They hand slice the meat to order, and all ingredients are fresh. The prices are excellent considering the huge size of the sandwich and the counter staff are friendly and chatty. I am so glad the new owner hasn’t compromised quality and quantity for a dollar! Sub Shop RULES!!

I had a large roast beef sandwich and I couldn't taste the roast beef, little lettuce, two slice of tomato or pickles. My sandwich drowning was in mayonnaise
Employees are rude, smells like cigarettes, kids running everywhere. Emphasis on the rude employee part.

Awesome. The meat is great quality, everything tastes fresh. Really tasty sub for a great price! I got turkey and salami. Grew up on east coast, where there is lots of good sub shops... but this is the best sub I've had in Oregon yet!

They were good when they first re-opened. Each visit since has been more disappointing. Today they could not take our order because they were smoking in the parking lot. Four customer walked out and I followed. Won’t be back.

What a great find!! I just started working in Eugene and this was by far the best food I’ve had since I’ve been at my corporate office. Jemma, Josey and Layla were awesome, great customer service and made the experience very enjoyable. I will be recommending to my CK workers and will be back next week. It’s a “must try” for locals and anyone passing through town! Highly recommend!!
