We hadn't been since Delta Oaks. We went early to this new location tucked away in Southtowne area. Besides a couple of rolls, we ordered the Vegetable Nabeyaki Soup which we always got years ago. It was very disappointing as it basically was broth and noodles. There were 3 VERY small pieces of broccoli, a few slithers of carrots, and as many cabbage leaves with maybe 8 one inch cubes of tofu. $14.50! The men's toilet is a dump and they were out of soap. The atmosphere was far from inviting. Won't go back.

This has been a frequent eat for my husband and I for the past four years. For the first two years we received great service from my husbands friend named Neil who seemingly ran the front of house operation by himself. As soon as Neil moved on from the restaurant we started receiving service that declined each visit. We had multiple take out scenarios where we were told to be there in 20 minutes and our food wasn’t ready for 35-45 minutes. On top of an inhospitable environment and ineptitude the food was the only things keeping us coming back. Today is my birthday, we decided to try and grab some food here. We ordered ahead and arrived at the time we were told to, upon arrival to pick up the food my husband waited for ten minutes only to be told our hot food was placed in someone’s else’s take out. To their credit they refunded us, otherwise this place is poorly managed as well as inhospitable. 100/10 would not recommend. Will not be returning either.

I can only rate the experience. Hostess was rude. Rude to us and rude to everyone who came in after us. There is no excuse. I feel bad for the owners but this person was so offensive to multiple potential patrons. We watched at least 8 people walk out before we finally left as well. Unwelcoming and hostile.

I had forgotten how good Domo is! We ventured across town for date night and found out that another restaurant didn’t have what they advertised so I looked on the map and remembered that Domo was near. We were seated immediately and service was excellent all through the meal. The sushi is prepared fresh as you order it and it is always worth the wait! The Vegas roll and the Unagi are my favorites and they are so delicious. The place has so many different options for any different taste.

First time trying this place. The staff are great, the service is very good. It’s a shame the food is mostly poor quality. The agadashi tofu was good. The shumai appeared to have come from Costco or something like that. I wanted it to be good. It was not. Service was great. I also think this place might have a few things it does well. But avoid the sushi and seafood. I’ll check again in a year.

Well, something has changed......owners or suppliers, maybe both. The host & servers are great, the food is NOT what it used to be, rice is bland or old. The fish matches the rice, doesn't seem fresh. Unless something drastically changes, I wouldn't recommend it.
