Great place for conveyor belt sushi, it’s not Osaka but it’s fantastic for a quick Japanese experience 🇯🇵♥️

We go there frequently. I'd say second best place in Eugene. Sushi Station is the best but Sushi Island has better prices and the sushi is good. I only get certain things off the conveyor, i usually just order off the menu as it enjoy the traditional sushi over the rolls
I've been going here a few times a month the last couple months but after my experience TODAY I won't b back. The place was busy & all the booths were taken or hadn't been cleaned off & the 1 conveyor belt was full so I sat at the other not active revolving sushi belt so I could have a bit of privacy & elbow room. The 2 waitresses were refusing to wait on me. I sat several min watching them blatantly ignore me & serve other guests waters & take orders. Finally after making it obvious I was waiting for someone to take my order 1 approached me & asked me to sit somewhere else. I explained I'd like to stay where I am if thats ok & she said it was & asked if I wanted to order. I HAD TO ASK FOR WATER & CHOP STICKS. After she took my order I overheard her complaining about where I was sitting to a guy n the back & clearly heard him say 'he would have just let me sit there'. Like he would refuse to acknowledge my existence.
What the hell? I'll never b back after being treated like that.

Mediocre at best
Poor selection of sushi. The same stupid rolls kept going round and round. Not enough Nigiri sushi, and when you order off the menu it takes too long.
Not horrible but very mediocre

I really liked the sushi conveyor belt! The first time I went it was super great and just a fun time, the second time I asked for miso soup but never got it, totally okay because I’m sure my server forgot but yeah. Other than that I would say it’s a great place to eat!

Plates rotating for a long amount of time, most rolls I tried tasted like they had been sitting for a while.
This was a fun experience with sushi going by on a conveyor belt on little plates. You pick what you want. The sushi was fresh and flavorful. Most flavorful sushi was on the red plates. Gives you a chance to try a lot of different kinds of sushi. Four pieces of sushi per plate, so you can share. The only thing is that the dishes are not labeled, so for us being new to this, it was a bit difficult for us to tell which sushi we were trying so we could remember for the future. We tried to match what we picked to the pictures in the menu, but we weren't always right. The server was able to tell us the name after we picked. We will definitely come here again. It is close to an EV charger in the Fred Meyer parking lot. We had mostly red plates, which are the most expensive, and still ate there very reasonably.

There is no happy hour price. It is fairly reasonable, especially if you want a wide variety of dishes. However, having been there several times over the last year, I will say that often the conveyer selection isn't what you see on the menu (a limited selection) and the staff only sometimes knows what is presented on the plate.
