Ordered 2 fried rolls and both came out completely mangled and destroyed. It tasted good, but looked like a total mess! And for $24?! I’ve seen better looking sushi at 7/11.

Pure not only the best restaurant in Eugene but literally the best sushi I’ve ever had. The staff is fantastic, the fish is outstanding, the atmosphere is wonderful. My partner and I get the omakase boat which is perfect for two people. I can’t recommend them enough.
We went there tonight and happened to sit next to the owner. He introduced himself to us and was so polite and welcoming. We had a wonderful night and we are so very thankful.

Wanted to try this place because I read several good reviews. We ordered the omakase which is supposed to be chefs choice of a variety of the best selections on the menu. We received a couple pieces of something called “Super White Tuna” which we had never heard of. We asked the waitress what it was and she told us it was escolar. We looked it up and escolar is definitely not tuna, it is a fish that is not served in Japan due to its propensity to cause gastrointestinal upset. Even the FDA does not recommend eating it. It is a cheap option and it is crazy that it was on the chefs choice selection as a nigiri and sashimi. All the fish was not fresh and had fishy taste. We love sushi and were sadly disappointed in the quality of the fish. We were both feeling sick when we left. But I gave 2 stars because the service was excellent.
Great food. The sushi was obviously fresh. Dont be taken aback by the purple rice, it's delicious. Sat downstairs where the atmosphere is more intimate and cozy. Overall, a great experience and definitely a winner.

I went here for my birthday dinner and the food was really yummy! I got the salmon nigiri and bento box. Prices were pretty much as expected for a Japanese sushi restaurant, but the service was not too great. When first ordering, I needed to say three or four times what I was ordering as the person taking our order was talking to another server mid order. And then the roll I was trying to order never made it to the table and I had to ask again for it. They also were rushing us during the meal. I kid you not, the second my partner put the last sushi roll in his mouth, someone was over to snatch up the plate, and then the bill appeared at the table within 30 seconds. I felt like I couldn’t just sit and finish my drink at the table, but was being rushed out. Food was good, but just wasn’t what I was expecting from the glowing reviews. Maybe it was an off night, but just wasn’t too great of an experience.
