I went here for my birthday dinner and the food was really yummy! I got the salmon nigiri and bento box. Prices were pretty much as expected for a Japanese sushi restaurant, but the service was not too great. When first ordering, I needed to say three or four times what I was ordering as the person taking our order was talking to another server mid order. And then the roll I was trying to order never made it to the table and I had to ask again for it. They also were rushing us during the meal. I kid you not, the second my partner put the last sushi roll in his mouth, someone was over to snatch up the plate, and then the bill appeared at the table within 30 seconds. I felt like I couldn’t just sit and finish my drink at the table, but was being rushed out. Food was good, but just wasn’t what I was expecting from the glowing reviews. Maybe it was an off night, but just wasn’t too great of an experience.

Beautiful restaurant. Great service. Food was incredible. I loved the ambiance. The only thing that sucked was a loud train came through.

Wow. Didn't know what to expect on a date night. We where seated immediately and the staff was very nice. Our order came out perfect and it was all so good. The dining area was unique and very clean. We sat down stairs near the fish aquarium. I look forward to going again. It's only an hour 30 from home so it will be a nice treat when I do.

It was super quick and easy to find FREE parking (both across the street and a block away) even on a Saturday during the height of the busy hours for the fifth street market. My partner and I entered the strangely constructed building and appreciated the unique architecture as we approached the host stand. There was wooden panels on the ceiling and quaint tables able to seat four, six, or just two.
Almost immediately the host greeted us and took us to a fantastic seat beside the windows in the upstairs dining area and for much of the experience my partner and I were lucky to basically have the section to ourselves! The window overlooked the train track and was draped with lovely white lace curtains, the tables, plates, cups, and decorations were clean and tasteful. I loved the tiny sauce plates! I swapped the one on my plate for the one my partner had because it had a really cute flower pattern. I loved the numerous white waving cats strung through the shelves and seating areas, we received water as soon as we were seated at we were provided with our own water pitcher! A++++!!! The music and quiet atmosphere of the restaurant was very soothing and enjoyable, covers of famous old songs played quietly over the speakers while we waited for our tasty carbonated beverages. My partner ordered the Ginger Ade (a delightfully tart and spiced beverage that came with a sliced lime on the rim. I went for the cherry lemonade (perfectly balanced with syrup and water with a lemon clinging to the side and a few candied cherry in the bottom of my glass) We appreciated our beverages for a moment and debated what to order.
Everything from the fish to the edamame was so perfectly flavored and enticing. We received a massive amount of food, perfect for the two of us with a few left overs when we ordered the bento box. All of the ingredients were fresh, seasoned to perfection, and absolutely delicious. We picked pieces of rice out of the bento box with our fingers, we fished out fried flakes of tempura coating and licked our thumbs, we chewed the cuts of green cabbage and dipped them occasionally in soy sauce while we debated purchasing ice cream from the parlor just down the street. Our server was a kind, efficient woman who tended to our needs quickly and without difficulty. I will a hundred precent be looking forward to my next sushi craving and I hope I have the chance to share the calming atmosphere. the fantastic food, and the unique construction of the restaurant's dining areas with friends and family in the future. (they also had a sushi bar where guests could watch the sushi being made in real time in a separate part of the restaurant completely out of sight of my partner and I!!) 100% will come again and will recommend! Thank you so much!!

Food was good but not great. Tables were sticky. Dirty glass and napkins. Our server could get us out fast enough. Very rushed. Not a pleasant meal.

The sushi was not good my rice was purple and tasted not great. The last serving me acted as if she didn’t want to help me and when we were done she kept avoiding to bring us our ticket. Then when she walked by 10 times with out my ticket my husband finally asked for it she was not happy about that. Super weird the place was nice though food not so much.

Great sushi, probably the best in Eugene! The atmosphere is great. Big wooden beams everywhere downstairs with cut outs for private rooms and dim lighting. A nice date night location. Fire drinks too!

This was a great spot for a later meal, all other eateries on the block were closed.
My only negative observation is that the tables were VERY sticky.
