Sushi Ya Reviews
We have eaten here many times - this last time we ordered over $200 worth of food for a birthday dinner for pick-up - and it was TERRIBLE! the salad was a soupy mess - not just in one dinner, but in ALL of them. There was barely any salmon in the one dinner plate and what was there was beyond dry. The extra rice we ordered was dry and hard - so it was either old - or undercooked. The only thing was was somewhat decent were the sushi rolls.
Rude owner. During the pandemic he treated delivery drivers like trash. He was verbally abusive and even made death threats to many. Among the regular GrubHub drivers this place was known as “Sushi Nah”. Declined these orders 💯
My brother and I love coming in on a regular basis. We ride our bikes there and lock them up outside. We have a certain table that gives us a good view of our bikes. Bonus for Eugene. The service is always prompt and genuinely friendly and attentive. My favorite roll is the Black Widow. Its a Spider roll that is a culinary masterpiece...wow its that good. My brother likes the Chicken Bento very very much. See you soon!!

Sushi Ya offers delicious food, including a Bento box and dungeness crab roll. Customers appreciate flavorful dishes like the tonkatsu bento, which is a favorite for many. The restaurant provides a cozy, casual atmosphere with an authentic Japanese vibe, making it a comfortable place to enjoy a meal. The staff, including a dedicated server named Ella, is friendly, professional, and helpful, contributing to a positive experience. While the sushi is consistently good and well-prepared, some customers have found issues with specific orders like cold soup and incorrect items. Parking can be a bit of a hassle, and there are mixed reviews about the ramen soup dishes. Despite these concerns, many visitors find the food enjoyable and recommend trying the restaurant. The location is a bit far, so delivery apps like Uber and GrubHub are popular options. Overall, Sushi Ya is considered a great sushi restaurant with a welcoming atmosphere and tasty dishes, though it may not be the best option for everyone.
