If you eat here, you should read this review because unfortunately, this amazing restaurant, with decent prices and a friendly atmosphere gave me TAPE WORM. Yes, this actually happened. This is the only sushi restaurant I eat at, or did, but after this experience I won't be eating sushi ever again. The problem with eating raw food, is if the food isn't stored correctly bacteria can grow, when you consume this tape worms is just one ailment you can and will get. The last time I ate here which was a few months ago, I walked in and I was repulsed, I even mentioned it to the staff, because it smelled so bad, it smelled so rotten in there I was shocked. Within a week I'd say I started noticing the symptoms, not having a clue as to what it was. Gut wrenching stomach cramps, irritable stomach symptoms, significant weight loss, 15 lbs, and other symptoms I won't go into. Be careful, be careful and mindful. Eating raw food has its risk, there's no room for error when storing raw food. If this happened to me, it's definitely happened to others. Be careful my people, you don't want TAPE WORM, it's terrible, easy fix, but you don't want to get it
I love the food here and my favourite is the tonkatsu bento. The location is quite far so I use delivery apps like Uber and GrubHub and my only disappointment is that the menu on those apps list the spicy tuna roll as included with the tonkatsu bento and it actually comes with a California roll. I wish they would serve the spicy tuna roll with it though as the online menu lists because I often forget and order that meal specifically for that option. Delicious food though.
The best Sushi I have ever eaten.!! 😋
Our favorite spot for Japanese in Eugene
Bento box was huge. Not the best sushi I've ever had but nice. And good prices.
Great service and delicious food
Need more wait staff.
Pork tasted old.
Sushi was okay.
My 6 year old liked the sushi, though not his favorite, and it looked really good, but my teriyaki chicken salad was a bit boring. Also didn't have any soda water or seltzer, which would have been a nice alternative to soda for an NA choice. I am nervous about restaurant water carafes (you should be, too).
The restaurant smelled bad as well. We considered leaving because of it but decided to tough it out as my son felt embarrassed at leaving after sitting down. Tbh it smelled like urine, but other people seemed to be managing OK.
Service was wonderful - both of the servers were friendly and the food was prompt.
Very good. Parking is a bit of a hassle however the sushi is spot on. Not too busy. Overall it’s a great sushi restaurant. Would recommend you give it a try. Staff is friendly

Used to be our favorite sushi place but the costumer service and food quality has really gone down hill.
The sashimi was not very fresh. Texture was slightly mushy. Taste was bland.
