New cook is not good. Puts whatever in the dish rather than what is specified in the menu. Learn to cook and follow the menu. You are cooking for other people not yourself!

Don't like leaving bad reviews but this one feels deserved as I have had consistent issues with Sweet Basil Express unfortunately and hope this feedback is acted upon.
bad pad se ew? Had it from here before and it was fine but ordered recently and it was AWFUL. pad se ew is my favorite food feel like its pretty hard to get wrong. far too much pepper and the flavor was just very very off. paid over 20$ for it to be delivered and didn't even eat it.
Delivery packaging should be changed as when my food arrives its a soggy gross brick in the container. There was no wait the food was picked up immediately and dropped off within 20 minutes. If you cant handle offering delivery then don't offer it.
When I pick up from here as a delivery driver during peak hours there's always a wait and like one or maybe two people working clearly understaffed.

This was my go-to spot for Thai food during college. Recently ate there. They're still good, cheap, and fast.

Went there once and had a satisfying experience
Go to spot since college! Anytime I come back to town, have to stop here for the pad see ew, my faveeee. Everyone loves the pad Thai too, the best in town.
Order the food via DoorDash. Found out the restaurant was going to close. Try to call the restaurant, if they ever get the order because the money already taken out of my credit card. Nobody picked up. Gotta drive there to confirm. The lady who work there was very rude. Not ever going to go here ever again. Sorry. I love supporting Thai community but this one is a hard pass
I ate the salad rolls w shrimp it was good
Tried the pad see ew and was not disappointed. They have the widest noodles I’ve ever gotten! I also got the Oh My God, their version of a crab Rangoon, and probably my favorite version I’ve ever tried too! The sweet plum sauce to dip them in was the cherry on top. Definitely going back to try more of the menu!
Great food. Rolls, tofu starters were excellent. Sauces were terrific, not too spicy but with some kick. Curry was delicious, as was the fried rice. Many vegan or vegetarian options on the menu. The art on the walls is interesting and the service was fast.
Restaurantji Recommends
By far the best Asian food I’ve had in Oregon and that’s definitely saying a lot considering I’m from New York. I was licking the plate when I was finished. The art pieces there by Noisanid were amazing to look at!

Food was prepared quickly and staff was very friendly. Seating area is sparse, but there are nice pictures on the walls. Cashew Gai was much too sweet to the point of being unappetizing. I was served a very small portion for $16--although it was listed as $14 online. Disappointing.

They used to be really good and now every time there's constant mistakes. I have an allergy to bean sprouts and I always order my pad thai with no bean sprouts and they put it in there and said I never ordered it like that and blamed it on me. My husband's last two times he's gotten his yakisoba has had no sauce whatsoever and just some basically raw noodles thrown together with vegetables that are barely cooked. Their prices are really really high for what you're getting. It's a bummer that they've gone downhill like this. Another hard thing is a lot of times the people that work there can barely speak English so there's a lot of mistakes being made. I always get the coconut ice cream with white rice it's $7 which I have no problem paying for but they literally give you like two small tiny little spoonfuls of ice cream. In my opinion this place just isn't worth it anymore

Been coming here for about 15 years. I ordered my house special curry on Uber Eats. This is how it was delivered. The new packaging makes it so they can justify much smaller portions. The peanut sauce is watered down significantly now. I also received microwave rice with my meal? It was either microwave rice or Very very low quality rice in general, nothing like what they used to serve.
I don’t know if they got bought out, or if ownership changed, but I am extremely disappointed in these particular changes. Their sit down restaurant shut down on Pearl Street years ago and if they continue to make alterations like this, it’s only a matter of time before Their campus location shuts down as well.
