I love shave ice. With all the options at Sweet Bay, you can’t go wrong. Add ice cream, endless topping, and a reasonable price. The bees are a bit of an issue, but they do their best to make sure they stay away.

So much more than just shaved ice. The flavors are delicious with the ice cream in the middle and the snow cap on top, highly recommended for any time or desert after a nice dinner out.

Best shaved ice in the area. Great customer service. Only downside is the bees are out of control in the seating and trash can areas.

I was that super late annoying customer pulling in 3 minutes before closing time🤦‍♀️. I have a yearly birthday tradition with my neice of getting her a cake batter shaved ice treat, but didnt realize what time they closed on Sundays. They were super accomodating and even gave the kiddo some free whip cream on her shaved ice. Great employees, great customer service. thanks again!

I absolutely love this place, but for some reason Google changed it's location to the wrong place recently. If anyone else is experiencing this issue and you want really good snow cones, the actual place is located near a Methodist church near the intersection of Cal Young Rd and Oakway rd in Eugene.

The first day we tried to get to the Oakway location it was closed. This was when we found out Google didn't have accurate info on this business. The 2nd time I checked the Facebook page and saw they were closing at 3:30pm instead of the advertised 7pm, when we got there at 2:30pm we were told they were closed already. "Someone called in" was the excuse, but there were 2 people there. I guess it takes a minimum of 3 employees to make shaved ice? So call ahead to see if they're open *and* how many employees are there I guess. I'm definitely done driving from across town to get there.

This is a hidden gem! I am so happy we got the chance to try it. I was like OMG How did we not have this in our life before. So so delicious ? ? Even the pup enjoyed a treat. Fingers ? for a brick and mortar store.

I visited them at the Asian Festival, and it was the best Shave Ice I've had in decades. Every purveyor of snow cones in the country seems to have switched their signs to read "Hawaiian Shave Ice," but a snow cone is NOT shave ice. Sweetbay had the real deal -- snowball-soft rather than juat coarsely ground ice like the imposters use. It was even better than what I had in Hawaii last year!

Real shave ice - not just snow cones. Lots of flavors. This is a cart. They have a covered area with several tables to sit in the shade.

Very good, especially with the ice cream!
