Wonderful Sunday brunch. However, we waited a full hour to get our food. They did make it right be discounting our meal. We will definitely make this one of our frequent stops now that we have family nearby. All seats have great views of the river.

Wonderful personal attention from Jason, the manager, who was very gracious in sharing his expertise regarding local wineries, our server, Jeremy, who was personable & engaging, as well as other staff, including the hostesses and Shaun.
And, in addition, the food was delicious. We highly recommend the fish & chips, the little gems salad, the chowder, and the Dungeness crab cake. Everything was delicious and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

we dined at sweet waters a few nights in a row as we were here on business but saturday was the best experience we’ve had in a long time. Jeremy our waiter was such a delight and had not only impeccable service but also great recommendations on both drinks and food. Aaron assisted us while also tending to a large party when the sun was quite blinding and disrupted our dinner he went the extra mile to check on us and make sure our experience was up to the sweet waters standard. Both of these lovely humans deserve a raise and special recognition from management. We were thoroughly impressed and will be back the next time we are in town.

The waiter was incredibly friendly and kind, making my time there great! I ordered the fish and chips. Though they were great they were not life changing. I do think the fries were good and the sauce made the meal better! The environment was super peaceful, especially with the outside seating!

The blahs are only surpassed by the disappointment. A memorable failure. Flashback: Reservation requesting a candle on the cake for my daughter’s 9th B-day. The hostess and waitress: « of course ». After a $340 meal; ordered her desert (noted wink and nod). Nothing. We sang happy birthday and she pretended to blow out candles. She smiled shyly and dutifully. I died a little bit.
Super lame, but not the end of democracy as we know (knew?) it.
But add insult to disappointment: 22% is the mandatory standard service charge?
20% fine - but 22% is the thin edge of the wedge salad, so to speak. That extra 2% was enough to infuriate and ruin an otherwise thoroughly ho-hum experience.
The food is corporate chef whatever, but with an element of bureaucratic farce where you can’t hope to escape despite an army of lackadaisical staff ambling by. I had the padded bill, but it was followed by a digestif comprised of 20 min waiting (and waiving) from the table, and another 11 desperately at the bar - I just wanted to pay and get my disappointed kid to bed.
Would recommend to keep expectations buried deep with your feelings. Get ready for some blah, loud sighs and internal dialogue best left unexpressed.
I was there in late June on a weekday afternoon. I ordered a beer out in the seating area overlooking the river. After getting the beer for me, the waiter never checked in again with me as to whether I wanted anything else or wanted to cash out. For a place like Sweetwater this is unacceptable.
