We’ve come to this location several times with a group and it is always busy. Surprisingly though, I’m always pleased with the quality of food and that the salads consist of more than a few leaves and one crouton! I’ve been burned by Texas Roadhouse in the past, but this one does its job pretty well. We order the steak and I’ve learned to ask for it to be medium rare, sometimes rare, because they tend to overcook slightly. The servers are usually nice and attentive. Just be sure to put yourself on the waitlist before going so that you don’t have to wait an hour to get in, because even on non-weekend nights it is still insanely busy!

UPDATE 3/2025
We had a nice conversation with Texas Road House corporate customers relations last week. After listening to our concerns, we can say for sure that they do care about us 'the customers' as people, and that we are not just numbers.
My wife and I decided to again visit today and give them another chance. Rrdults, My steak was perfectly seasoned and so was my wife's. The ribs, I was not too impressed but my wife really liked them. A big plus.
Lorena took great care of us and made sure my steak dinner was perfectly seasoned as per my request. Her statement was ' I can make that happen ' and she delivered 💯. The floor manager stopped by to see how everything was, which is a nice gesture.
Thank you Tealy at the corporate office for understanding and listening.

A 5 cent tip kind of place. Literally.

Not because of the servers, River and Marion, they were great and apologetic for the worst food ever, but a five cent tip place because of the managers insincere apology.
She should take lessons from her employees.

My country fried steak and steak fries were not edible. Extremely over salted. I attempted to get past it but after three bites it was not possible. My wife's herb encrusted chicken was more like Salt encrusted chicken.
When "the manager" came to 'apologize', her apology was like she was reading from a text book. Sorry but you need to go back to management training. We do appreciate the discount you gave us (not charging for my meal I had returned) it was so kind and sincere of you. You expected us to pay for food that was not edible?
Did you not hear my wife say that her meal was over salted too?
She shouldn't have had to pay for that terrible meal too.
Pay attention next time and Listen to what your customers are telling you, and don't be so quickly to dismissed them like if they are second class citizens.

In my line of work I deal with dozens of visitors a week and many ask me about good steak places to eat, I tell you this 'I will NOT recommend your place anymore, ever.'

And, please hold back your text book response to the google business reviews.. "We are sorry, it is never our intention to let our guests down. We sincerely appreciate you taking the time to let us know how we can improve." Bull!
Save your fake response to your CEO I'm sure they would love to hear your response, they might even give you a pay raise.
Picture of the bill will be posted with the title '5cents Tip for the manager'.
My info is on the bill. If you truly want to make things right.
If you are reading this and deciding whether to eat at this place, DON'T. My recommendations are Kennedy's SteakHouse, George and Violet's, oh hell at this point Centenial SteakHouse in Springfield would be better.

I WILL UPDATE THIS REVIEW DEPENDING ON RESPONSE FROM UPPER MANAGEMENT.

A decent steakhouse for our area. The dinner rolls are amazing. I miss table service where plates are removed after dinner finished. Otherwise, decent service.

I placed a to go order online- easy peasy! I went to pick up my order and the from the moment I walked in Lily was amazing! Her attitude, customer service and attitude are top notch. I hope Texas Roadhouse recognizes what a gem they have! The steak was delicious. My little 81 year old mom’s favorite- the sweet potato was disappointing. The picture below says it all.

I have been eating here for years and while I have had great experiences dining in, the majority of the times I've gotten take out something has gone wrong. Either they forget the fries or the burger is so greasy you can't hold it, or the chicken fried steak is so tough and over cooked you can't cut it let alone eat it! And when you call to complain they say that they will send you coupons they take your address and send you NOTHING.

Honestly I'm so tired of spending my money here only to be disappointed and out my money. I do not recommend eating here, but if you must then DO NOT get take out.

Super consistent food, and always excellent service. I think I've only ever waited to be seated, or be served; super attentive staff keeping you topped up on drinks, bread, etc..
The atmosphere is good, but in a loud busy/rowdy way.
I can definitely cook a better steak, or pretty much anything on the menu at home, but it always comes prepared correctly and I always enjoy it. Never disappointed here.
Haven't had a steak in a restaurant aside from here that I really liked in the Eugene Springfield area, even among the fine dining restaurants regularly pushed to the top of the leaderboard.
It originally surprised me cause I don't usually like these kinds of chain food places, but Texas Roadhouse has become a favorite for a lazy day where I've got a hankering for some meat.

Dietary restrictions: There are peanuts everywhere. Don't go if you're allergic to peanuts.

My husband and I eat here every few weeks or so. We always sit at the bar. The Saturday bartender/server, Kimbo, is AWESOME! Always smiling, great service, and does her other duties behind the bar efficiently and with a smile for her co-workers too.
However, we have been served by another person (not sure what his name is but he reminds me of Kung Fu Panda because he wears a headband). We found him to be boastful and full of himself. We just wanted to eat in peace, but he kept talking to us, and mostly about himself. We'd rather sit in a booth under the weird, mounted snake skin and endure birthday songs than sit at that bar with that guy. Sorry man.
The idea of management approaching us to see if we need anything kind of makes you feel like a VIP. Sort if. Unless, like during our most recent lunch that we were trying to enjoy, we were approached by both managers separately and also the server who was just doing her job. One of the managers completely interrupted a conversation, interjecting, "HOW'S everything!?" It was very startling and intrusive. Read the room dude. Then he walked away, almost before we finished answering him with, "Just fine.".
Food is good. Avoid the catfish.

The steak was amazing! The loaded fries were really good too; I ordered a House salad, but they brought me the Caesar salad, so I ended up getting two salads, lol, which is a bonus. And, of course, the roll and honey butter are to die for, but the mac and cheese was kinda bland to me. Overall, it was a good dinner.
