I was way too hungry. I have to go back now & take photos, darn. Lol. Seriously, the food was awesome, the server was on point & the place is nice. I had the arugula, roasted beet, grilled squash, blue cheese crumbles, salad & a piping hot baguette with butter. My other dining partners had the Chicken Thigh meal, the Hamburger with shoestring fries & the Kebab platter & everyone raved about their food.

Kelli was an amazing server and made the evening so much fun! She was friendly, funny, and engaging and made our evening extra special. She was very accommodating to our child guest and that made our night much easier. The burger was decent but the pork sliders were insanely good! We will definitely be back!

I've been coming here for 3yrs, and shoulda written a review sooner. In my opinion, Eugene is lacking in 'great' food restaurants. Thank goodness for The Davis. I typically get the Salmon...but lately have branched out. Everything impeccable. Cocktails are best! I dinged it a star on service, cause sometimes there's a party in the other room, and staff seems taxed. Maybe short on employees? If so, that's understandable these days.

The food was just ok... the server told me tri tip for the special, and then they brought me a roast and apologized , AFTER she brought me the food, saying she was mistaken. Not much i could do about it. Several people got their food before they even got their drinks.

We had a double date last night: Dinner at Davis and a performance at Oregon Contemporary Theater. It was so satisfying to have a positive experience in Eugene's otherwise depressing downtown. The ambience, food and service at Davis were all stellar. All four of us fell in love with our charming server, Francis. We each ordered a different entree, and each of us was thrilled with our choice. Three of us started with the beet salad (with Rogue River bleu!), and our entrees were the five-spice chicken pho, the baked four-cheese tortellini, the Kofta kebab platter, and the cheddar biscuit pork sliders. Francis also described several tempting specials for the evening. The restaurant atmosphere was lively, but unlike many restaurants in town, it wasn't too loud for conversation. We're so happy to have been reacquainted with such a fabulous restaurant and will return soon.

We were in town for a short visit and found The Davis on a Google search. We all had healthy appetites and open minds, and the minute we walked in we loved the place. Everything from start to finish was A+. Friendly staff, delicious apps and amazing entrees! The Deviled Eggs and Sweet Potato Fries were our starters. My sister enjoyed the Salmon and I opted for the Kabobs on Alberto’s recommendation. WOW! I cleaned that plate…We shared a Crème Brûlée for dessert to top off a perfect dinner and after, took a lap around the dining room and enjoyed the artwork. I hope you enjoy your visit as much as we did.
Came for lunch. Shrimp and grits were fabulous! Grits were fluffy and shrimp had perfect amount of heat. My husband had the ahi sandwich and it was really great.

The Davis is the only full service sit down restaurant in down town Eugene core. It has survived despite the poor city council policies around homelessness and drug use that have slowly pushed diners and shoppers to seek other options. They are open for both lunch and dinner offering similar menus. The Davis Burger has been a popular option since opening day. The tight menu can satisfy any of the varied food restrictions and the bar delivers both traditional and craft cocktails. For those who have to travel to down town its worth the effort.
