If your looking for a small homey bar with outside seating this is it. I only knocked off one star because of my disappointment with the lack of consistency with bartenders. Every time I find a bartender that we vibe with they end up getting let go. I hope they don’t get rid of Fox! They already got rid of our other favorite Matt, hope they don’t get rid of young Matt or Shayla!

This a small neighborhood bar with a very convivial vibe. The atmosphere is very relaxed and the staff are a good balance of professional and chill. They do not have a blender, so none of the drinks that would require one are available. However, that does leave a lot to choose from. I was content with a peanut butter whiskey and cream, my friend had a rum & Coke. We did not try the food, but I saw some food go out and it looked very good. I will return, but peanut butter whiskey is about a once in a decade type drink for me.

I’m 29 and wanted to get a beer with my boyfriend. Walked in, ordered a beer, they asked for my ID (as they do). I gave them my ID. They questioned my age, address, origin of ID, questioned the validity, walked to the back (away from me and the bar, which is technically illegal without consent). They said they couldn’t take my ID. First and last time I’ll ever come to this dump.

And let me tell you why..... When you lost Robin you took a major loss!! Myself and a lot of my associates have been coming to your establishment for a very long time and Robin was a breathe of fresh air for your company she was welcoming, friendly , personable, and made you feel comfortable. It's too bad she is no longer with you your company and very disappointing to say the least!!
Daytime staff isn't very welcoming. Came here in the afternoon to celebrate moving to Eugene with a party of 3 of us, my brother and his girlfriend and myself. The older woman bartender with the permed hair met us with a pretty rude demeanor.No welcome in or anything just stared at us and then singled me out for my ID immediately, which is normal for a bar yes but the way it was just me that was singled out and being the only person of color in the bar felt pretty discriminatory, she never asked my younger brother for his ID at all btw.Then when we ask about drink specials or what kind of martini she'd recommend she just kind of brushed us off and the one martini that did end up getting ordered by my brothers gf she never even gave her a chance to specify the vodka she would like and just started pouring it with Fleischmann's vodka which is the last thing anybody would want in a Vodka if they know their vodka.At some point that bartender left and another one took over, also didn't greet us or say a word to us just stared at us the entire time like we were intruding. The whole experience and atmosphere was just very unwelcoming and we quickly finished our drinks and what we could manage to get down between the 3 of us of that Fleischmann's martini and left. Probably won't be coming back.

Bartenders are amazing especially Robyn and Cooper. However, the ownership seems to have ran things down hill. They have a low drink limit, close early, and don't seem to treat the staff very well.

Robin is simply the best person you can find working in any bar in this town. I cannot say enough about how amazing she is, and it brings us back to this spot again and again. Lots of great staff, nice neighborhood bar vibe, and some surprisingly fantastic soups! Will be a staple for us always.

Only for Robin would I go she is amazing and always smiling and cheerful. If I show up and she isn't there I will drive on and find another place. Can't tell you how great she is!!! You really need to experience it for yourself!!
