God bless these folks. They serve great food, inviting atmosphere, friendly, warm and they treat you with more respect and dignity than a person in our situation is likely to find most days. Its a nice reminder of civility and Im pretty sure thats the point, a gentle reminder that there are options, choices. 100% Soul Food
Today was taco casserole asparagus and potatoes inbred with the choice of juice milk and coffee I also had a really fabulous brownie it was one of the best meals I've had there give it a try
I was homeless. Ate there often. They had flowers on the table... Live acoustic music. Most importantly they let me volunteer there. It gave me a whole new perspective. I wanted more and they helped generously. I believe it was Jesse that trained and worked w me. Taught me how to make croissants. Tedious work. Love u for all u did. Keep at it. It moved me... it will move others.
