Thank heavens the beer gods decided to look down on us. A locally owned beer bar that serves a wide and constantly changing variety of interesting beer, that also manages to uplift an overlooked part of River Road, what a diamond in the rough!
Sit at the bar for more than a few times, and you'll find yourself enthralled and welcomed into a spectacular group of regulars that expands and grows. The owners probably care more about your well-being than your therapist does, and the kind hop is cheaper, too!

This is a great little gem in North Eugene. It's a well curated tap list with some harder to find beers and ciders. The service is great, with a great soccer vibe. They also occasionally have events for sports and whatnot, but also cook-offs! We love this place!

The Kind Hop brings a fun place to drink on River Road. They always have a great selection of local beer and the owners are really great! Perfect for an after work beer or to catch a soccer game!

Great beer selection. Nick makes sure to have a few nonalcoholic selections, too. There's a board game group that meets there on Mondays, which is a nice change of pace! It's a little echo-y, always a challenge with spots in strips like these. Not really a problem unless that one guy gets real loud, which isn't usually the vibe. Chill spot for a pint.

The Kind Hop is the other end of town for me, but I headed over to meet a buddy there today. I absolutely loved this spot. I’m a big snacker when having a beer so was worried about it being no food, but you can bring outside food in and, if I’m being honest, I didn’t notice the no food. Owner seems like he’s good people, and I’ll be back again. Might have a new ‘local’!
