The Old Spaghetti Factory Reviews
Terribly rude. The hostess lost track of people waiting to be seated and I got skipped. People who came in after me were eating while I waited. The manger rolled his eyes at me and said something along the lines on 'do you want a table or not.' I left without ordering. Horrible!!!
I and my two grown sons dined there in mid-Dec '25. The service was terribly slow. The food was very bland, with little seasoning or developed flavor. And worst of all, all three of us were pretty violently ill over the span of the next 24 hours. We will never return to this restaurant. Based on our prior experiences there, everything about it has gone very downhill.
Growing up in Italy, I’ve always had high expectations when it comes to pasta, and The Old Spaghetti Factory has become one of my go-to spots here. I stop by often for their classic spaghetti with mizithra cheese and browned butter. simple, rich, and so comforting, it instantly brings me back to Sunday family dinners in Turin. The quirky, vintage atmosphere makes it even more special, almost like stepping into a storybook

The Old Spaghetti Factory provides a relaxing dining experience in a calm atmosphere. Located in Eugene, it keeps the signature "trolley" theme from its Utah locations. The service is friendly, and the to-go options are good, especially the bread. Many customers love the pasta and desserts, with the chocolate mousse cake being a favorite that keeps people coming back. The restaurant maintains its original building and interior design, creating a photogenic dinner experience. The staff is nice and helpful, and the drinks and food are well priced.
The restaurant is situated in the historic Oregon Electric Railway Passenger Station Building, built in 1914 and added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1979. Customers are impressed by the beautiful building and recommend it as a must-see. The food is fantastic, with popular dishes including the Mizithra Cheese and Browned Butter, Spinach Tortellini with white sauce, and toasted ravioli. Desserts and pasta are highly recommended, and the restaurant often receives praise for its atmosphere and consistency.
Visitors have described the experience as wonderful, with a cozy booth and perfect lighting creating a great ambiance. The waitstaff, particularly Katie, is praised for being professional, attentive, and delightful. The food is consistently delicious and arrives quickly, leaving customers impressed and eager to return.
