The quality and quantity of sushi here is better than many more expensive places I've been to! The nigiri especially is large and really melts in your mouth with the slightly warm rice. Sure the "atmosphere" is lacking, but this is a takeout place. I saw 5 or 6 orders go out the door as I ate. It's cool that they let you eat in if you would like, and the service is good. I've added the full menu as of 8/5/2024.

My favorite roll ever is from here. I've not seen any other place offer it. (Kuka Roll: deepfried with spicy tuna, jalapeño, and cream cheese). It was prepared so quickly! They were absolutely wonderful. Not too expensive, and the food is so so good. Definitely recommend

The Sushi spot is the # 1 sushi place in Eugene and they serve High-Quality Sushi, price is so affordable, and their sushi is fresh and mouth melting!!! So happy that we have this great sushi restaurant in here! I highly recommend sushi spot over any other sushi restaurants such as izumi, makoto, sushi ya, sushi domo!!

Ok—the food was fine, and the lady was very nice…the interior…was barren, not much atmosphere. But worst of all was that they only served us with one time use tableware! Miso soup came in styrofoam bowls. Sushi in plastic trays, utensils were plastic! Not even biodegradable. For that reason alone we will not go back.

Of the various rolls we had there was absolutely an elevated level of care and balance to the dishes. Like I've had a dragon roll plenty of times in my life, but never one that manages to really balance out each flavor and texture in a way that makes it Better.
We ended up being the only people dining in in the late evening, but to-go orders were flying off the counter. Our food still came out promptly and the woman taking our order and serving was incredibly warm and friendly.
I actually dig the somewhat stark atmosphere. It's more of a hole-in-the-wall with bangin' food kinda vibe. They don't seem to be trying to play up the place like it's something it's not.
