It's a food cart, and generally I'm partial to food truck/carts as they often are awesome. The cheeseburger was good, although the sauce on it wasn't my favorite. Steak fries were good but only got a few with my order. Will definitely eat here again.

I asked about the brisket sandwich. He said it was amazing. It was most my gristle, and not hot. Very disappointed also seeing that I tipped 20% before I got a chance to try the food. Am never going back.

Delicious Mushroom Swiss burger and one of the best Pulled Pork sandwiches I have ever tried. The Potato Salad and Macaroni Salad were perfect sides with the food. The Tie Dye Chef is super friendly and cares about his quality and how the food tastes. We will absolutely be back for more and can’t wait to try other items on the menu.

It's been a good while since I treated myself to a Reuben, and boy did Lonnie deliver. Cheesy, layered with briny sourkraut and tender, well cooked cuts of beef all delivered between two toasted slices of Rye. I will be 💯% coming back to visit Lonnie and jam out to some classic American rock & roll!

Extremely impressed! I know Eugene has no shortage of excellent food carts and this place is no exception. I’ll very much have to return to try the rest of the menu, but if you had to choose one thing, get the ruben! Best ruben I’ve had, hands down. Perfect pastrami, perfect crunch of the rye, and a very generous amount of quality kraut. Very obviously made by a chef who cares about his food and his customers. Great eats.

I just had the best Reuben sandwich I’ve ever eaten at The Tie Dyed Chef. Perfectly toasted bread, tender corned beef, melty cheese, and tangy sauerkraut all came together in absolute perfection. The flavor was spot on and it was made with obvious care.

On top of the food being outstanding, the atmosphere is welcoming and laid-back, and Lonnie, the owner, makes the experience even better. He’s incredibly friendly and takes the time to make you feel right at home. You can tell he genuinely cares about both his food and his customers.

If you’re in the area, do yourself a favor and stop by The Tie Dyed Chef. You’ll leave full, happy, and already planning your next visit.

Delicious, thick, fruity and creamy mango milkshake. Partner- who only ever gets French toast for breakfast at restaurants- says the French toast is the softest she’s ever had and melts in your mouth. Easily one of her all time favorites. I just took a bite and it’s definitely peak French toast in my book holy cow.

You can tell the Tie Died Chef puts his heart and soul into the food he makes. He was eager to describe some of the steps he takes to produce this quality. The French Toast is based on his mom’s old recipe from Louisiana which is super cool. Very friendly and fun to chat with.

We’ll be back for sure. A lot, if I have anything to say about it.
