Literally just moved to town, still unpacking boxes, stress headache to the max, and realized I hadn’t eaten all day around 7 pm. Placed a quick take out order for a plain chz pizza and some apps, noticed my phone number was still my old number when I checked out but thought eh, what would they need to call about? Showered and got my dog out the door to pick it up and when I arrived they informed me I had inadvertently selected ‘no cheese’ on that cheese pizza and they had been trying to reach me by phone…to that old number. I didn’t know whether to cry, scream, or Victorian sick child faint right there- my brain couldn’t even find the words honestly but they ended up just fixing it, were so nice about it, and someone even gushed over my dog outside. A win is a win. Not for nothing but the pizza reminded me of home (nyc) which I’ve rarely experienced on this coast. Everything was delicious. When I get over my immense shame at my online ordering performance I’ll definitely be going back

We had such a great experience at The Wheel Apizza Pub! From the moment we walked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. You can tell they genuinely enjoy what they do, and it really adds to the overall atmosphere. The service was prompt and attentive without ever feeling rushed, which made for a relaxed and enjoyable evening.
We started with a salad, and it was honestly one of the best we’ve had in a long time—fresh ingredients, perfectly dressed, and just the right balance of textures and flavors. Then came the pizza, and wow—absolutely delicious! The crust was that perfect blend of crispy and chewy, with just the right amount of char from the wood-fired oven. Every bite was full of flavor, and you can really taste the quality of the ingredients and care in preparation.
The vibe of the place is also worth mentioning—laid-back and cozy, perfect for a casual dinner or a night out with friends. We’re already looking forward to our next visit. Highly recommend if you’re in Eugene and love great pizza with top-notch service!

In reference to some of these recent reviews. There are two sides to every story. I was in the restaurant & saw this unfold. This is not an accurate representation of what occurred. I had an exceptional meal & the service was even better.

The gentleman who took my order and poured my beer was really nice. Clean restaurant and really fresh ingredients. Pizza was a lil floppy for my taste. Like I had to hold the crust up to bite it. Well cooked pizza just flopped bad. My only complaint and hence the 4 stars.
