From somebody who has been to LA (Huntington Park) and Mexico, the food is really good.

Salsa was a little runny for my liking but the food was good. Margaritas needed a little more flavor. I had traditional, blackberry, and mango flavored.

I'm deeply troubled that this restaurant would openly advertise its violation of federal immigration laws. It's well-documented, and there is legal precedent, that businesses employing undocumented workers typically underpay them, deny overtime compensation, and fail to remit the required federal and state taxes and insurance protections. The primary motivation for hiring individuals without legal work authorization is exploitation, which amounts to indentured servitude. I cannot in good conscience support this establishment, knowing they are willfully disregarding federal law and seemingly encouraging others to do the same.
Great Mexican food and atmosphere.

I have eaten here several times... service is always good. Sometimes a bit slow if they are busy...
Food is pretty good... pretty basic Mexican good, and a large menu too. I have not tried their margaritas yet... need to do that.
I have had the Carne Asada, the Chile Rellenos plate (pictured), and several of the enchilada plates here. All good, if not inspired.
Worth a visit, if you like Mexican food. I have not found any place better to date here in Eugene, but will keep looking!

Ordered 6 street tacos, 3 without onion and cilantro due to an allergy. All 6 had onion and cilantro.

I wasted a $20 Lyft to get here because they advertised that they were open until 9pm and they were closed. There goes $20 dollars. Not okay
BEST Mexican food in Eugene with vegetarian options. Super fair pricing. I'm from Texas so my standards for Mexican food are high, and this is one of the few places in town that exceeded my expectations for authentic food. Don't sleep on this restaurant!

Restaurantji Recommends
one of the best mexican restaurants in town! the salsa is made fresh daily, i had the mild and it was very flavorful. delicious carne asada quesadilla. the staff was courteous and prompt, such excellent hospitality!
my only concern is the accessibility of the front door. there is an elevated walkway (approximately 4 inches tall) to get to the door, and the door does not open all the way. this leaves very little room for wheelchair and power chair users to enter. very risky, coming within 1-2 inches of falling off and getting possibly injured. my recommendation is to have the door open the opposite direction, against the window, for improved safety.
i love it and i will bring my friends here!!!

Tio Pepe Mexican Restaurant: A Consistent Favorite in Eugene
For the past year and a half, Tio Pepe Mexican Restaurant has been our go-to spot in Eugene, and they've consistently impressed us. The dedicated staff, many of whom seem to be long-standing members of the team, are always hustling, yet remain remarkably attentive to every diner.
Having explored most of the menu across our visits, it's tough to pick a single standout, but the Chile Colorado is a personal favorite. That said, their fajitas are also a delicious choice for when I'm in the mood for something different.
Portion sizes at Tio Pepe are just right – generously sized for the price, ensuring you either leave completely satisfied or with enough leftovers to enjoy later. It's clear why Tio Pepe has become such a reliable and enjoyable dining experience for us.
