Delicious ramen, fantastic choices on the menu, bustling atmosphere, and great service. Bathrooms are really clean too.

Vegetarian options: One of the 3 ramen bases is a vegetarian miso base, then you can pick toppings (almost all are vegetarian except the pork belly).

This is my favorite restaurant in Eugene. They are delicious, cheap and filling. There's nothing like a hot bowl of ramen on a cold day. Plus the staff is great and had always had my back. I've gone here for over 20 years and loved every bowl.

I’ve been looking for Ramen place in Eugene because I miss it ? and this is near our place. Prices are affordable. We ordered shoyu original, shoyu corn, shoyu cha-su, gyoza and teriyaki chicken. All are delish! But I still miss the shiro ramen with creamy broth that I am used to, i will go back here and try their shio broth. Chicken teriyaki is yummy. The place is clean and staffs are super friendly!

ETA: I asked for no MSG, but I definitely have an MSG headache right now.

Been wanting to go here for years, finally got a chance to eat lunch there today.

So disappointed. Bland. No flavor at all. The broth was unidimensional in flavor, not complicated or full of depth and flavor. The cha-shu was extremely gamey-flavored. Like, in a bad way. I'm not usually put off by gamey meat, but I couldn't finish it. The other ingredients were sparse and added no depth of flavor to an already-bland soup.

The noodles... hard to believe they are handmade... they had zero flavor.. not even cardboard-flavored.. just no flavor at all. However, I did like the bouncy, chewy texture.

The gyoza were only cooked on one side...the other two sides were floppy and slippery and falling apart. Not my preferred way to have them prepared.

Staff was friendly and establishment seemed clean.

I will drive the 25 minutes to Cottage Grove to eat at Oba Ramen every time. They are everything I was hoping Toshi's would be. If you want MIND-BLOWING ramen, make the trip. You won't regret it.

Dietary restrictions: They have a "no MSG" option, which I appreciated.

Not a huge Ramen person, but the staff and owner are just incredible! You've got to love it just for the environment.

This place is amazing!!! The staff were short friendly and very helpful. The person that took my order was enthusiastic about the fact I haven't been there in 12+ years. Told me, "welcome back! We've missed you!" That made me feel special. The prices are very reasonable for how much food you get. The ramen is DELICIOUS! I'm definitely going back as much as possible from now on.

I go here at least once a week. Their teriyaki chicken is not only a great deal, but mouthwateringly delicious and has overtaken my subconscious mind and invaded my dreams. A+, chefs kiss wonderful stuff. Also, the ramen rocks and the people who work here are awesome!

I’ve eaten here twice and been told there are vegan options (which I have ordered and eaten). Went in recently and was told they don’t have anything vegan in an incredibly condescending manner, and also that they haven’t had anything vegan “for 15 years.” I don’t mind not having vegan options, but when I came here last year they served me something the server insisted was vegan. It’s not great service.

Sent my husband in for food. He’s been waiting over 15 minutes. Customer behind him was given food before he was as he continued to wait.
