I had the falafel pita, my husband had the bowl with lamb and lettuce, and our daughter had the bowl with meatballs and rice. I thought the falafel pita was rather dry and bland; ok but not something to bring me back. Our daughter thought her's had lots of flavor (I agreed with her after stealing a bite). My husband says his was great, two thumbs up.

Drinks are through Oregon Wine Labs. They have non-alcoholic options but they are somewhat limited.

Seating is indoor or outdoor. Most of the outdoor seating is shaded by buildings and a tree.

Waaay to much salt on the lamb. Two bites and done. Couldn’t finish it. Not very friendly either!

They can do gluten free pitas! I got the donair on a gluten free pita and it was fantastic. And the fries are also gluten free and came out super hot and crispy

As a Greek and Egyptian person myself, this ain't it. Maybe one day there will be a good, authentic Mediterranean/Middle Eastern restaurant in Eugene....

overall, food was a mild taste. Not a lot of flavor and a lot of the ingredients in the euro tasted like plain ingredients. Service was great overall and I appreciate the staff, but the food was not good and I would not recommend coming here.

Uumani is a hidden gem that truly captures the essence of Greek cuisine. The menu features a delightful selection of authentic dishes, and every bite bursts with flavor.

Uumani offers some of the best gyros I've ever had! The meat is tender and flavorful, and the seasoning really brings it to life. I loved the fresh veggies, and the tzatziki sauce added a perfect tang. The pita was warm and crispy, making it a great wrap for all the ingredients.

Uumani will leave you craving more. Highly recommend!

Ordered a wrap here and it reeked of meat I realize that they must have cooked the bread on the shared grill without properly cleaning it before. It smelled gross and I had to throw it away. I wrote to them about this, and messaged them on Instagram, and they completely ignored me. They advertise that they are vegan friendly and I specified that I was vegan and even double-checked, so I was extra disappointed. Fellow vegans. If you are at all concerned about cross-contamination, stay away. Updated from previous review on 2024-10-14

Amazing! Had the lamb donair. Deliciously spiced and wonderfully fresh. Had it with the Uumami fries—so good! Well seasoned and comes with a tasty dip. Staff was really friendly and helped me out as I made my choice. Nice shady spot to sit, relax and enjoy the meal on a warm day.

Check them out! It’s great!

We had the Uumami Bowl, a side of hummus and the Zatar Fries. All the flavors were spot on and fresh. Definitely going back for the platter and more hummus. The best hummus we have had, so far, during our time in Eugene. Fries were homemade cut and seasoned well. We weren’t familiar with the flavors of the sauces, so she gave us both and ketchup for the fries.
