Went there the other night as a family and had a wonderful experience food was outstanding…however I went in the next day to get two bowls of chowder to go and paid $24! And barely got what I would call a cup! It was good but way overpriced!
We walked in the door and were greeted by a happy staff! Drinks were great ,prices good and such a friendly crew. Ordered dinner, the lasagna pasta was great for my wife, and the steak I ordered was perfect! My go to place when we stop over in Florence..
This place should be 5 stars based on the food alone! Amazing meal
First off, I have to say we only visited to try the clam chowder. It was excellent. We asked our server what the (green) spice was and she said she thought it was Taragon. I think she's right (but a little surprised she didn't know). No matter, we will be back to try other menu items. Atmosphere is charming, and the service was warm and welcoming.
Best build your own pasta!
Definitely a great place for food and drinks. I will visit again.
In 23 years of visiting Florence, somehow we'd never made it in to Restobar...what a mistake on our part! Richie was a fantastic server, but from the moment we were greeted at the door until it closed behind us, we were treated amazingly well. Everyone was so friendly and kind.
We enjoyed the staff knowledge of what their seasonal beverages were like, and when our dinner arrived it was gorgeous and tasted divine. The baked lasagna was a giant serving, scalding hot and the closest I've had to my family's secret recipe. The chicken marsala was a spectacular blend of flavors and textures and the creamiest, most velvety sauce...the cheesecake was something out of a dessert-lovers dream - perfectly creamy and rich with real fresh whipped cream...
All in all, we will be back!
The staff here are SUPER nice and the drinks are bussin
My family and I were very unpleased with the service here. We arrived at 7:40 and the hostess said there was a table finishing up and then she would clean it and sit us. We started looking at menus while we were waiting and realized they close at 8. I told the waitress we didn’t know they were going to close soon and we could go somewhere else, but she insisted we stay and that it was no problem. Then as we were still waiting for the table, we heard one of the cooks yelling across the restaurant saying “are they gonna order or just stare at the menu all night.” Extremely unprofessional as customers could all hear and we were obviously waiting for someone to sit us/take our order. When the table was ready, a waitress came up to us and said “we can sit you but the kitchen closes in 5 minutes. Also we are out of chicken, lasagna, meatballs, and clam chowder.” She was very rude and it was clear she was trying to get us to leave. After we sat at our table, our waiter came up and the first thing he said was “I heard you guys are ready to order and you know what we are out of.” Finally, as we got up to leave (mind you there were still other customers there), all of the staff was standing around audibly talking about us as we walked by. The entire experience was upsetting and frustrating. There was no reason for us to be disrespected and treated with such unprofessionalism. Do better.
Went to their Willamette valley vineyards wine maker dinner and it was fabulous. The staff is so friendly and Mercedes (GM) has them on point. Chef and the owner are passionate and committed to a great experience.

Thought we’d go in for pizza as we were very hungry. Place wasn’t packed but still we waited for half an hour. When asked the waiter he said “we’re not fast food we make our pizza from scratch” no apology or anything. Ordered a meat lovers medium pizza with half of it just cheese no meet. Apparently removing the meat cost me 2 dollars as they charged me for the change. When I asked the waiter he said that’s how we charge. Anyways, very good pizza at $29! Plus $6 for 2 small cups of oj as “I don’t do refills” from the waiter. So we ended up paying $37! For a medium pizza and 2 small child size OJ. Waiter was pretend nice and didn’t look like he had patience for anything but his tip.. as a local I’m happy there is such good pizza but not happy with the service and price.

Delicious ahi tuna appetizer, scrumptious seafood pasta, creamy melt-in-your-mouth crem brulee. Atmosphere only subpar as we were seated in the very back room on plastic chairs w/ a tiny, tippy table, which prevented us from ordering a bottle of wine, but the food was delicious.

We stumbled upon this restaurant, and boy, were we glad. There's a warm, welcoming feeling about the place. Our waitress Laura did an exceptional job, was super nice too, even joked around with us.
The food was delicious!! Everything was prepared just right.
Don't miss out on this restaurant, you won't regret it.
