“This restaurant had theee best food. We had a BLT - delicious, Lemon Crepes - to die for, and two regular breakfasts- super delicious. We didn't get there in time, but everyone raves about their pancakes and French toast. The service was excellent. Will recommend to everyone.👏”

It was busy (Labor Day weekend) but they were abundantly staffed. We will go back (as long as Linda the owner is still at the helm!) each time we are in Florence!”

It's also the old drive-in style so you don't even have to get out of your car or dine in. Sometimes we drive an hour and a half just to go to a&w.”

“service was great, but the food took an hour to arrive and it was missing half the order. scramble was dry and way overcooked. then there was the no-cash fee, basically a credit card fee I wasn't told about. not a big deal but communication goes a long way. to top it off, they opened the doors to cool it off and I was blasted with cigarette smoke from the people sitting outside. “My wife and I just had our first dinner there since the original owners bought it back, remodeled and reopened the restaurant. So we had no expectations. We were pleasantly surprised! The restaurant was clean and well decorated with what looked like new tables and fresh paint. The menu is comprehensive American family fare, which in Florence is refreshing. We live here and there really isn’t any other place that tours itself as family friendly. My wife ordered a smashed cheeseburger with onion rings. I ordered a patty melt with the included fries. Both orders exceeded our expectations. The patty melt was one of the best I’ve ever had, perfectly cooked, with cheese, caramelized onions and marble rye bread. Perfect. The fries were double fried so soft in the middle and crunchy on the outside. My wife’s burger was also excellent. Both our burgers had fresh hamburger with great flavor. Definitely not from frozen patties. She’s very picky with burgers and really liked it. Her onion rings were also exceptional. Not too greasy and also tasted freshly prepared. You take a bite and you don’t get the entire onion piece sliding out of the breading. Last the servers were awesome, friendly, polite, and very positive. You could tell they were making a great effort to ensure patrons were happy with their meals and experience. Overall, 5 out of 5. It’ll be nice when they get their beer and wine license but we understand that can take some time. Otherwise we will definitely make this a regular restaurant stop in our town of Florence!”

“A little remodel and new ownership. The place still feels like the classic house I loved, but the layout is quite nice. Very popular here. Outdoor seating is Dog friendly. They customized my White Mocha to my request perfectly. I fell in love with the Blueberry Cheesecake Croissant. They have Chocolate Covered Coffee Beans you can add to your coffee when they serve you your drink. My only complaint, was they didn’t have any souvenirs like keychains or automobile touristy stickers I could bring home for everyone.

Oh yes. They have coffee punch cards just like they used to with the last ownership. I have been grabbing my punches as I go through Florence since 2017. 🧢”

“Reliable and tasty. Find your favorite and have them dress the sandwich as you like it. I really appreciate getting lots of veggies on my sandwich, and the flavors available with the meats, cheeses, and dressings. I also appreciate the gentleman who makes my sandwich when I stop by in the evenings, on the way to Eugene for cancer treatments.”

“We found this place after a quick search for outdoor seating and dog friendly and it did not disappoint! When we first arrived, there was just one table available outside but hadn’t been cleaned yet since the previous couple just left. Our waitress did a quick clean and wipe down for us and was very attentive the entire time. We ordered the fried oysters, hummus plate and cheddar ale dip. All of it was delicious! The chef even came out to check how we like the oysters and offered to remake them if we felt they were over fried! How awesome is that!!?! They were cooked just fine and we loved them. The French 15 cocktail was so refreshing after a long day on the beach too. They even have a dog menu and our River loved the doggy meatloaf!! We don’t visit Florence often, but absolutely recommend this little gem!”

“I had the most kind barista, I didn’t catch her name but she had all black long hair in 2 braids at the time. She was so sweet, I feel sometimes customer service goes out the window these days, she made a point to compliment my hair, and hold light conversation while we ordered. Meant enough for me to go out of my way for this review. *GIVE HER A RAISE*”
