“I passed by this cute little store in Seal Rock on my way to Florence for a girls weekend and decided to pick us up a few sweet treats. You did not disappoint! We all agreed, hands down, that it was the best salted chocolate brownie and shortbread ever! My only complaint is that I didn’t buy more! I will be back! 10/10 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Tiny artisan bakery that is only open three days a week (Thursday-Saturday) in Waldport, OR. There always seem to be a line to get in but it moves relatively quickly. Besides, it gives you an opportunity to check out all their offerings, bread, pastries, cookies, etc. we bought a seeded sourdough batard, rye loaf, mini cheesecake and a bag of toffee. The bread was crusty on the outside, soft on the inside. Cheesecake wasn’t overly sweet and the graham cracker crust was buttery. The toffee tasted a little burnt but seeing how tasty everything else was, I’m willing to give it a pass for now. Can’t wait to go back again.”

“Great food and milkshakes. The staff was friendly. The place has a couple of tables inside and 3 picnic benches on the outside. Food is a little pricy but very tasty. The tofu spy garlic bowl was amazing. The burger was good but the fries are the best - also the dips especially the chipotle. We tried a couple of milkshakes and they were amazing as well.”

“Received top notch service from José. He was patient, kind and informative. Love how down to earth he was. Even the hostess asked if we wanted to be seated with José the second time we went because of our interaction with him. The atmosphere was nice (customers, staff, restaurant and the waterfalls on the window). The food was good enough that I returned again. I really enjoyed the cod with their tarter sauce; best tarter sauce I've ever had. The seafood pasta also wasn't bad, I learned it's a crowd favorite. I recommend this place.”

“I have never eaten an oyster I’ve liked until I came here. The oysters in black bean and ginger sauce were AMAZING. The broth it came in was fantastical, and the entrees were even better with the Mongolian stir fry and crispy chicken coming out piping hot and really tasty. Everyone was really pleased with the food, the service was beyond friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. Cannot wait to come here again.”

“The best place in Newport Oregon on the Oregon coast to have their chili and their clam chowder. The line can be a bit long (because they are popular) and there might be a little wait (it’s always well worth it), but I always leave this place feeling a little better about my day. I say "interesting" in the sense that everything had something unexpected or a twist on the usual that was both wonderful and surprising.Best of all, everything was gluten free and safe for me to eat.The chestnut soup, clam chowder, fried market fish, potatoes, squash, and perfectly cooked broccolini were all terrific. Even the butter tasted more "buttery" than any we've ever had. There seemed to be an excessive use of sprouts as garnish for my taste, but I'm not a fan of sprouts in any form.The food was served at the right temperatures and the main course plates were warmed. (I appreciate that very much.)The decor is unexceptional and the ambience is a bit spare, but the music was delightful and at a nice low volume, unlike too many places.The bill was surprisingly low for the quality of food and service we received.We plan to come down to Newport more often just to enjoy Zach's Bistro.Highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: Zach's Bistro is an excellent place for celiacs and the gluten intolerant. “I absolutely love this place! Tried it on a whim and will most definitely be going back. The food was outstanding! We tried the dumplings, ramen, chicken satay, and bento boxes. The ramen had organic pork and organic noodles. First of all, the flavor was wonderful. The food came out hot and fresh. I would have taken more pictures but we ate it so fast because it was amazing! My kids loved all of it. We did ask for anything spicy on the side and they were happy to do so. The staff was super friendly, knew the menu items in and out, did a wonderful job. They do have gluten free options. They change their menu with the seasons and I can't wait to go back for their spring menu!”

The fries are thick cut and seasoned well. Delicious. I ordered the fish tacos. Fresh corn tortillas, huge amounts of fresh grilled fish and delicious slaw/ cilantro cream sauce on top. Best fish tacos I have ever had. You gotta try the pickle fries, too!”
