Chowder Bowl is a great spot for families and beachgoers alike. The restaurant serves wonderful food, including excellent fish tacos and chowder in a sourdough bread bowl, although some dishes may lack a bit of flavor. The service is consistently excellent, with kind, upbeat, and efficient servers. The atmosphere is great, with a lovely location next to the beach in the Nye Beach area. Be prepared for a short wait, especially for outdoor seating, and note that parking can be challenging. Despite the steep prices, the overall experience is highly recommended, especially for the delicious desserts like the bread pudding.
