“I absolutely love this place! Tried it on a whim and will most definitely be going back. The food was outstanding! We tried the dumplings, ramen, chicken satay, and bento boxes. The ramen had organic pork and organic noodles. First of all, the flavor was wonderful. The food came out hot and fresh. I would have taken more pictures but we ate it so fast because it was amazing! My kids loved all of it. We did ask for anything spicy on the side and they were happy to do so. The staff was super friendly, knew the menu items in and out, did a wonderful job. They do have gluten free options. They change their menu with the seasons and I can't wait to go back for their spring menu!“
“The chef here is so creative! They make their own mustard, it's excellent, I wish they sold it bottled. Husband and I have tried different dishes and all have been good like fish n chips, burger, salad, quesadillas. Pretzels and pickle chips are great starters. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. “The food was OUTSTANDING! We are visiting Newport for a week and this was our best meal by far! My husband got the fish & chips. I fish was fresh and the portion was huge. The fries are thick cut and seasoned well. Delicious. I ordered the fish tacos. Fresh corn tortillas, huge amounts of fresh grilled fish and delicious slaw/ cilantro cream sauce on top. Best fish tacos I have ever had. You gotta try the pickle fries, too!“
“The service was excellent and I came and ordered at the last minute.We ordered some vegan options for some of the group and went ABOVE and BEYOND! So reasonably priced.The aesthetics were so amazing with the rustic vibe of the place! The gentleman that helped me had amazing customer service the cook knew my order and double checked my order before giving it to us!!The vegan pop tarts were absolutely delicious and same with the vegan gluten free donuts!Smoothies were excellent! “We came to celebrate a late birthday of my father in law, a total table of 5. The menu options all looked delicious... so my wife and I chose to split a Lamb Schwarma & add a Tabouli cold salad to share among all of us. It was just the right amount of food and extremely flavorful. We *did* substitute the mayo with Tzaziki and added feta cheese to round out what we preferred flavor wise for Mediterranean.Our table ordered two honey pistachio baklava for dessert to share, and I wish I had more ??Everything was zero hassle, environment is calming and bright. Our wait staff was friendly as well, with the just right amount of attentiveness. Will definitely be coming back through from the Eugene area on another trip to visit family. It came recommended from my brother in law who lives in Florence.“

“I have to admit that the clam chowder that they have is the best I have tried in newport and in the west coast. Although a little more thick (a signature for oregon), it challenges classic SF's fisherman's wharf clam chowder. Portions may seem a bit small, but they are incredibly filling!“

“This is one place that I know that serves whole crab! I love crab! Anyway, the food was great especially the clam chowder! At the time we walked in there was only a small table available which we found out later wasn't going to be big enough for both me and my partner's meal so the server kindly offered to move us to a bigger table that was available shortly before being served our food. I recommend this stop for any meal of the day!“
“2nd Update... This update is long overdue. But things have changed for the better. I give it five stars!!. Ten if Human bean would not have raised the prices. But the girls are consistently nice, and the coffee is still, consistently good. I really love going here now!!Update...I do like the coffee & the girls when they're being nice so it bothers me that i have to write this.Latley the attitude from a couple of the girls stinks and, 1 In particular. Not outright mean, I guess i would say indifferent & snotty. These girls used to be nice.It's caused me to wonder about the managements relationship with they're employees. Is it strained?.. Good management = good morale, good morale = happy employees.One girl is always nice, she has braces.I have consistently been a good tipper. I can't always tip but, i try to tip a $1 for each drink if, i can. I worked in bars and restaurants my entire life and, that's a DAMN good percentage. Especially in the wake of the financial strain that Covid has brought to many.Im always pleasant to you girls when im there. Often I will try out new drinks and I'll have questions. So, don't give me an attitude when I ask you what kind of nut milks you have.
