Newport Cafe Reviews
Had breakfast here at the end of our 3 day weekend in Newport. Have to say it was my favorite meal of our vacation. Great fresh food and friendly service. The avocado bene was delicious.
Do not let the exterior of this cozy little cafe fool you! The food was VERY tasty and portions were plentiful. My Mom and I stopped in for breakfast after a quick google search. I ate the Newport Scramble and my Mom ate the biscuit & gravy scramble. Oh. My. Goodness. So much good food. We loved the atmosphere and our server was fantastic. If we ever come through again we will definitely stop for another meal.
Good food. Excellent value (for a beach town). Can be very busy (especially at brunch/lunch time). Some very large portions available (8 lb hamburger anyone?)

Newport Cafe is a popular spot known for its good diner-style breakfast and delicious options. The corned beef may not be the best choice, but the potatoes, eggs, and chicken fried steak are yummy. Located off Hwy 101, the cafe offers a variety of dishes, with the clam chowder being a standout. Despite the simple environment with no view other than the highway, the food quality exceeds expectations. The steamer clams, fried tuna, and clam chowder are described as over the top amazing, making it the best food ever tasted by one reviewer. The staff are friendly and provide quick delivery service, ensuring that orders arrive in about 10-15 minutes. The food, including French fries and burgers, is highly praised for its great taste and good prices. The place has a small town café atmosphere, where breakfast is served all day, and the biscuits and gravy are particularly amazing. The halibut fish and chips are served with a light batter and thick, flaky fish, accompanied by tasty tartar sauce. The Prime Rib roast and eggs is cooked medium rare and very good, along with good link sausage and coffee. Overall, Newport Cafe is a must-visit for those seeking a great and affordable dining experience without upscale prices.
