“Came to Newport for a work trip (brought my family along as well) and stopped by this Cafe for dinner for our first night in town. The best thing I can say about this place is 100% the service. The service was humble and welcoming. Our waiter was tentative to our needs, was kind and friendly to our family/kids and made us feel welcome. The Cafe is very small. That’s the ONLY reason I gave it a 4 star rating. If there was more wiggle room in there, it’d be a 5/5. They do offer inside and outside seating but it’s still pretty small. They seem to make it work though! The food was really good.. zero complaints there. My family and I all shared a bite or two of each of our plates and we all liked everything. Would definitely come back each time I’m in Newport.Kid-friendliness: Waiter went the extra mile when interacting with our children by making them an awesome hot chocolate that looked fun with lots of whipped cream and chocolate drizzle. Waiter was very kind and could tell he wasn’t just doing it for his job. It was a pleasant experience.“
“This is a great retro restaurant. Atmosphere is a 50’s diner with photos to keep you busy while waiting. I had a burger, it was great. Upfront they have ice cream for shakes and floats with bar stool and table and 50’s music playing. Prices were “
“THE best atmosphere and service! We came here mid week just wanted some good food and people after 7pm on a Wednesday and Tia Brown SLAMMED it. When you just need some good food & a moment to fill your soul- come here!! Pools tables, good music, hand made burgers, off the hook steak fries. Mhmmm. Thanks Mi Lady. You never know the souls you touch.“
“On a day trip from Eugene, we stopped in for a drink ? ? . The waitress was awesome ?. She let us sample a few things and then took our order. Excellent service and atmosphere. We did not try the food, but I bet it is really good as well. Thank you for going above and beyond for the public. Definitely recommend ?. Will be back when visiting Newport again.“
