“Great little place. Showed up here on a Friday night as other places around town were closing at 9PM (we came in December). The place was great. You know that ratty hoodie you own that is kind of beat up but isn't? That one that is just super comfy? That's Bier One. We were in the mood for the following: - Play some cribbage (check!) - Get me a dessert beer (check!) - Some place mellow (check!) - Clean & friendly atmosphere (check!) Honestly, not sure if it was because of who was bartending (12/29) but dude was super friendly, music wasn't blaring, and honestly, every town needs a place like this. “What I'm down in Newport I go to the Bayfront drive through there it's fun drive on to the Oregon oyster Farm on the way back I stop at the Mad Dog Tavern for a fantastic Ultra cold beer a little gaming and fun people to talk to the owners of the restaurant bar and Eatery are also great “
“Always try to hit this place when we go to Newport. Not sure if we just lucked into finding he best items on the menu, but the Crawfish Etouffee and Artichoke Parmesan Rockfish are so good we haven't been brave enough to try anything else.“

“Clearly a local haunt based on who we same come through and where we got the recommendation. The food was great (loved the curry soup!). Definitely sit at the bar adjacent to the cooking area to watch the process, all steam cooking, exclusively electric, and the owners are very friendly.“
