My family and I went to the Coast to celebrate me turning 30. Before we left town- we stopped and had sweatshirts made and then went to Sea Lion Dockside bar for coffees and to peek at the Sea Lions. Two hours after leaving- I realized I left my sweatshirt on a table and was immediately upset with myself. I decided to send a message, asking if they could look to see if my sweatshirt was there. The Sea Lion Dockside Bar offers a great beverage selection, a very nice setting, and some good merchandise to browse. The little bar in the back is a hidden gem with a nice covered back porch overlooking the sea lions. Minors are allowed on the deck, where guests can enjoy a hand dipped ice cream or a beer with a view. The gift shop is cool with lots of interesting finds, like hot sauce, cute charms, and tea. The coffee is so good, and the staff are cool and kind. One guest left a sweatshirt behind, and the staff immediately replied with a photo, offered to send it, covered shipping cost, and even sent some coffee. Another guest found the hot chia not mixed well, but a staff member was very helpful, re-made the drink, and offered a refund. There is also fun entertainment with the sea lions barking.
