Really cute, local place with exceptionally good food and very reasonably priced given the high quality. We were only in Newport for two days but we managed to eat here twice. Had lunch after visiting the Aquarium and went back for breakfast the next day. Be sure to visit this place when in Newport! Note to owner: We do like Coos Bay just like you said we would.
FAVORITE RESTAURANTSuper friendly staff, cute homey atmosphere, and definitely the best food in town. I haven't gotten anything here I don't love. The french toast is a MUST, and they have the best fish and chips I've ever had (and I try the fish and chips everywhere I go. Super fresh, perfectly seasoned, crunchy coasting. Listen. I'm PICKY. Super picky. I hate the fish and chips most places because I'm so picky. It's seriously perfect here. AND their tartar sauce is really great)....read full review

A hidden gem off the Oregon Coast highway. The inside was a bit tight, but the food and service here was outstanding. I tried the clam chowder soup and fish 'n chips and they were amazing! There were plenty of clams in a creamy broth, the fish was light and flaky, and the fries were awesome - very tasty! One of the best chowder and fish 'n chips along the Oregon Coast - a must try!Parking: Ample parking in front of the restaurant.
