“We have enjoyed several meals here, breakfast, lunch and dinner. Enjoyed every one. Great views and friendly service. They remember us when we've returned.”
“Amazing! This is a must stop if you are at the coast! Definitely friendly for kids but romantic for couples also. Honestly the perfect cross between the 2 but with AMAZING FOOD!”
“We've been here twice in three days. Their use of heirloom tomato inside their Marsee bagel breakfast sandwich is perfection to the tastebuds. Fresh squeezed orange juice hits hard as well. The service is excellent and friendly. Hope they're around for a long time.”
“Ended 2023 with Linner (lunch/dinner) at Squatchsami (eating in the Outpost). Wonderful Lingcod Fish and Chips and WORLD CLASS Clam Chowder (and got some Chicken for later). Oh, and they have Ice Cream and Cookies and other treats in the Outpost. Good People running it as well. Debbie is a kick and Ken cooks like a mad man (but loves it). Best to order online to make sure they have not sold out. They often do.”
“This place was fantastic. Super friendly staff, delicious food, good beers on tap, fantastic views. Very vegan-friendly menu, with excellent fried / chewy tofu especially. We got Tom Kah soup and pad see ew with tofu. Unfortunately I didn’t get a picture of the food, it was too delicious and I ate it too quick. I did however get a picture of this epic double rainbow from outside their window. A magical place!Vegetarian options: Excellently prepared tofu”
“This is a cute little place.Sweet gal took our order at the counter, then brought food to our table. It was very quick. Food was great, and lots of it. We had cod fish and chips. Yummy. Too full to have ice cream cone after.I'd go back when in Depoe Bay.”
“I'm a southeast Alaskan and I've grown up on seafood most of my life. This is now my most favorite seafood restaurant! Absolutely wonderful food! All the stars for the service, food, atmosphere and view! Thank you Local Ocean, I'll absolutely be back next time I come to Oregon.”
“Nye Beach Cafe exceeded all expectations with their outstanding gluten-free clam chowder and gluten-free garlic toast. The chowder was rich and flavorful, showcasing fresh clams and perfectly seasoned broth. The gluten-free garlic toast was a delightful accompaniment, adding a crunchy and savory element to the meal.Aside from the delicious food, the service and hospitality at Nye Beach Cafe were exceptional. The staff were friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about gluten-free options, ensuring a comfortable dining experience for those with dietary restrictions.Overall, I highly recommend Nye Beach Cafe for their amazing gluten-free offerings, flavorful clam chowder, and top-notch service. It's a must-visit spot for anyone looking for delicious gluten-free options in a welcoming atmosphere.Dietary restrictions: I was surprised to see the variety of gluten-free options available. Couldn’t find a lot of info online but speaking with the cashier offered more insight into their gluten-free offerings.Parking: Street parking only unless you’re parked at Nye Beach and walk over.”
“Received top notch service from José. He was patient, kind and informative. Love how down to earth he was. Even the hostess asked if we wanted to be seated with José the second time we went because of our interaction with him. The atmosphere was nice (customers, staff, restaurant and the waterfalls on the window). The food was good enough that I returned again. I really enjoyed the cod with their tarter sauce; best tarter sauce I've ever had. The seafood pasta also wasn't bad, I learned it's a crowd favorite. I recommend this place.”
“Clearly a local haunt based on who we same come through and where we got the recommendation. The food was great (loved the curry soup!). Definitely sit at the bar adjacent to the cooking area to watch the process, all steam cooking, exclusively electric, and the owners are very friendly.”
“Tidal Raves in Depoe Bay, Oregon, is an absolute treasure trove of culinary delights. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the stunning ocean views and the inviting ambiance. Our culinary journey began with the steamer clams, a tantalizing appetizer that set the stage for what was to come. Each clam was impeccably fresh and bursting with flavor, a true testament to the restaurant's commitment to quality.Next up, the char grilled ribeye steak stole the show. Cooked to perfection, it was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. And then there was dessert - the key lime pie. Creamy, tangy, and utterly irresistible, it was the perfect ending to an already spectacular meal. The citrus mango puree provided a refreshing contrast to the richness of the pie, leaving us longing for just one more bite.Throughout our dining experience, the service was top-notch. Attentive and knowledgeable, our server ensured that every aspect of our meal was nothing short of perfection. In summary, Tidal Raves exceeded all expectations and left us with memories that will last a lifetime. Whether you're a seafood lover, a steak connoisseur, or simply someone who appreciates good food, a visit to Tidal Raves is an absolute must. You won't be disappointed.”
“Stopped in on a rainy day just as they opened so they didn't have anyone else in there, but based on the atmosphere, server friendliness, and food I can imagine they're popular. Everything was excellent and our first visit was a big win. We'll be back. Zurita Sangria was fantastic as was the food.”
“Stopped by Crushed and Crafted randomly a few years ago, and it has now become a mandatory stop as part of our trips to the Oregon coast. Joey (and his wife who owns oceanography 101 next door) are delightful people and we can't recommend Crushed and Crafted enough.”
“Great little hole in the wall Burger joint, we usually go to the Lincoln City one and prefer it for the decent amount of seating. This one has only 4 tiny tables for 2 and their exhaust must have issues, we were just in there for 15min, but smell like part of the kitchen (clothes, hair everything). The burgers are great though and service was friendly.”
“I have never eaten an oyster I’ve liked until I came here. The oysters in black bean and ginger sauce were AMAZING. The broth it came in was fantastical, and the entrees were even better with the Mongolian stir fry and crispy chicken coming out piping hot and really tasty. Everyone was really pleased with the food, the service was beyond friendly, and the prices were very reasonable. Cannot wait to come here again.”
“The ice cream choices were plentiful. Not too many, not too few. Excellent service and it is an ice creamery that has used it's space well and allows you the space to decide and enjoy your choice of ice cream ??.”
“The best place in Newport Oregon on the Oregon coast to have their chili and their clam chowder. Their food is excellent there service and staff is very quick very very nice people love this place go there all the time every chance I get I highly recommend the chili little spicy for some people but it's the best thing you can get on an nice cold rainy dayParking: There's a parking lot just west of the business of the chowder bowl it's parking for the state park or the beach Access to Nye Beach .Kid-friendliness: Kids menu great food for kids and very friendly kids atmosphereWheelchair accessibility: Easy access to wheelchair to get into the building wheelchair handicap parking west of business in State Park parking lot”
“The food is so good. I love the Shepards pie, chicken pot pie, and they even have a black bean burger which I love. I am not a fan of other alternative none meat burgers. It's all really good. The atmosphere inside is great and on a nice day they have a lovely patio.”
“I happened to wander in, and after a short talk, ordered their "special chai", and was nicely impressed. My girlfriend arrived shortly with a neighboring competitor's mocha. After tasting my chai, she dumped her mocha and ordered one for herself. We will be back.”
“Zach's Bistro was a revelation. We were expecting a rather ordinary meal and received the most interesting and well-prepared meal that I have had in years. I say "interesting" in the sense that everything had something unexpected or a twist on the usual that was both wonderful and surprising.Best of all, everything was gluten free and safe for me to eat.The chestnut soup, clam chowder, fried market fish, potatoes, squash, and perfectly cooked broccolini were all terrific. Even the butter tasted more "buttery" than any we've ever had. There seemed to be an excessive use of sprouts as garnish for my taste, but I'm not a fan of sprouts in any form. The food was served at the right temperatures and the main course plates were warmed. (I appreciate that very much.)The decor is unexceptional and the ambience is a bit spare, but the music was delightful and at a nice low volume, unlike too many places. The bill was surprisingly low for the quality of food and service we received. We plan to come down to Newport more often just to enjoy Zach's Bistro.Highly recommended.Dietary restrictions: Zach's Bistro is an excellent place for celiacs and the gluten intolerant. The whole menu was gluten free on the night that we were there.”
“Fantastic experience! The staff were wonderful and welcomed us like we were family. The shop has a fun atmosphere and the coffee was delicious!Kid-friendliness: There were little games for kids as well as neat things you could buy for them.”
“Such a lovely place to stop and enjoy some high quality coffee, friendly people, and yummy baked goods. Came in with nothing and left with a smoothie, a Borgia coffee (delicious orange and chocolate with espresso), and 4 pastries. Will come again and can't believe I haven't been yet!”
“My wife and I had chicken cordon Bleu and steak. We splurged. It was 110% worth it. I was astonished at how good the food was. We also got a couple pastries to go and a couple English muffins. Everything was outstanding. If I come back through town you can be sure I'll stop here again.”
“I absolutely love this place! Tried it on a whim and will most definitely be going back. The food was outstanding! We tried the dumplings, ramen, chicken satay, and bento boxes. The ramen had organic pork and organic noodles. First of all, the flavor was wonderful. The food came out hot and fresh. I would have taken more pictures but we ate it so fast because it was amazing! My kids loved all of it. We did ask for anything spicy on the side and they were happy to do so. The staff was super friendly, knew the menu items in and out, did a wonderful job. They do have gluten free options. They change their menu with the seasons and I can't wait to go back for their spring menu!”
“Visit this gem this morning for a pick me up, the barista, one male one female were amazing and beyond kind. Insanely good coffee, attention to flavor and detail was tasty! You can tell they take pride in their coffee and work!”
“The chef here is so creative! They make their own mustard, it's excellent, I wish they sold it bottled. Husband and I have tried different dishes and all have been good like fish n chips, burger, salad, quesadillas. Pretzels and pickle chips are great starters. The wait staff is friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!Parking: Huge lot for parking and is walking distance to historic Bay front”
“We had a great experience here! We ordered the shrimp cocktail, wine, halibit fish and chips, along with the roasted vegetables with quinoa. All were superb. This was our first time here but the serivce was great and we will be back.”
“The food here is delicious! I tried the chicken enchiladas, tamales, and a taco and it was so good. Definitely eating here again next time we're in Depoe Bay!!”
“Great service, great food, great coffee, and great desserts (mostly). If you can eat regular food, you're golden ?Dietary restrictions: Keep in mind: Sugar-Free desserts are NO SUGAR ADDED (which is important for diabetics and other special diets) and the Gluten Free desserts taste HORRIBLE (first time in my life I didn't finish dessert).”
“Great seaside fish restaurant. Grilled as well as blackened and fried options. It had a great homey beach ambiance and the woman who helped us was very friendly and accommodating.”
