“This is my favorite Mexican Restaurant hands down. Not only is the food always excellent but so is their service. Been going since they opened and NEVER once had a bad meal or experience! A lot of times I'll get the super nachos on my way home and they always include chips on the side so they don't get soggy! BONUS!”

“Go there for the delightful setting on the Umpqua river, but also for the tasty food. Recently I tried their jumbo fried clams and they were the best fried clams I’ve ever tasted, and I order them whenever and wherever I can. The service is friendly and it’s just a great atmosphere. In winter overlook the river from inside but in warmer weather enjoy beers out on the deck. Usually I don’t write reviews but The Schooner is a place I think couples and even families can enjoy!”

“The food has always been pretty good. And most times we get a nice Waitress. There is one that gets a little nasty with the customers on the phone and in the restaurant. I am hoping she got courtesy lessons. We do like the food and do take out as well as dining in. Although I think it is better in resturant. Nice and hot and plated up”

“Not only our favorite golf course on the coast, but our favorite restaurant as well. Top 3 restaurants we've ever been to, and we travel ALOT. Every meal we've had deserves a Michelin star, service is amazing, the views of the course are great, drinks are delicious. You don't need to golf to come here, you just need to enjoy great food and service!”

“We went here for their Thanksgiving Buffet. There was one man who was taking care of a PACKED house, and he still made time to make everyone feel like they were family and the food! OMG the food was outstanding! When you can cut brisket with a fork you know you are getting some excellent food. It was all very tasty! Thank you!”

“Had lunch while watching the Ducks play on their TV screens. Tasty Ketch-all sandwich & onion rings. Everything just fine, very good with one exception: the portions seem to have gotten smaller. Probably due to the rise in prices for everything during this covid pandemic. Recommend? Yes.”
