The carnitas flavorful, juicy and fantastic, other meats alright and a little dry. Salsas are both spicy and delicious. Very very loud so eat outside or take-out if you want to keep your hearing. Mexican-American flavors, less traditional but very tasty. Reminds me of all those '00 era family style Mexican food restaurants and bars that used to be everywhere but have mostly vanished. Very nostalgic taste.
Kid-friendliness: Probably not great for kids inside, very loud and rowdy, more like an after work hangout or dinner to go.

For being a little hidden place, this place has true genuine Mexican food as far as I am concerned. A little pricy, however we'll worth the adventure and experience.
