I had some work at the DMV and Los Compadres Taqueria was across 101. A friend in Florence had introduced me to this wonderful place earlier. The food, atmosphere, and service was amazing! This family run restaurant will be visited quite often!

I like the people that wait on me and the food is great.
The carnitas flavorful, juicy and fantastic, other meats alright and a little dry. Salsas are both spicy and delicious. Very very loud so eat outside or take-out if you want to keep your hearing. Mexican-American flavors, less traditional but very tasty. Reminds me of all those '00 era family style Mexican food restaurants and bars that used to be everywhere but have mostly vanished. Very nostalgic taste.
Kid-friendliness: Probably not great for kids inside, very loud and rowdy, more like an after work hangout or dinner to go.
