Been visiting MOs for 27 years off and on especially for the Calm Chowder, was very disappointed this go around. Great place, great atmosphere.. however the calm Chowder was more like a ham and potato Chowder, didn't find any clams in the Chowder.. just lots of ham, strong ham flavor with copious ammount of potato. Had to go home and make my own clam Chowder to redeem my taste buds. Maybe it was an off day, or at least I hope it was.
Our clam chowder want bad, but not great either. Shrimp fettuccine was horrible. The clam strips, breaded shrimp, & Fish and chips were great! Service was awesome. The view is pretty great at all the locations we've been to.
It was a little noisy in the building, but everything else was great ! A little slow on getting our drinks when we first arrived, but due to the number of customers that were there. All in all, this is one of the better MO's i have been to. Newport being the worst.
