I don’t normally do reviews. We were traveling and I went into Safeway to get some breakfast burritos. Walked into deli which had a sign saying there were available form 6am to 11. Stood there under sign for several minutes. Then walked over to a woman (employee ) setting up a table and inquired if I was in correct place to order. She affirmed and I walked back to empty counter. 2 men behind counter looked at me then looked away. Stood there another 5 minutes or so still no acknowledgment. Walked back to women still messing with table and complained about lack of customer service. And decided to go to Starbucks to get food. When husband dropped me off he went over filled gas tank and waited an additional 15 minutes or so. One of the worst customer service ever seen.

Management is spot on, pleasant & helpful. I have sold some special requests crafts for employees & restored a monkey from 1964 ? I did the abstract Jackson Chameleon just for fun ? Everything I make is for sale from home & don't forget Rhody Days Festival is May 16th-19th in Florence Oregon

The sale items are bate and switch, not clearly readable for handicap or older customers. Will never buy on sale items because it's better to drive to Eugene and shop at winco foods

If you actually look close enough at the cleanliness of the store especially their deli and their meat department. You'll notice inside of the cold refrigerated cases where meats or salads are held. There is mold growing where the cold air circulates and if you ever get food born Illness symptoms after eating food from these cases. It's probably why. Brought it to the attention of managers and they still refuse to clean the mold in their cases. The meat department workers have also informed me the meat Safeway is packing and selling is very old and almost past expiration of use by before extra color and meat glue is used in your food. The simple fact Safeway does not require people to handle food for consumption and don't require a food handlers card is beyond belief.

When you are in a hurry for a quick Chinese style meal or sushi, this Safeway always has a great selection to choose from.I don't just come here for a quick bite, though. I enjoy doing my shopping here as well. I come from a small town, so the selection is limited. This store, however, has a wide variety of everything. I mostly find my health food here as well as the foods my kids like. Overall, the store is clean, the staff is friendly and helpful, and there's a great selection of groceries to choose from.

The people who work there are nice and helpful. If you forget your coupons, the cashiers have the paper and will assist you with the coupons. They have the 3s a crowd.
