Surfside Restaurant at Driftwood Shores offers a pleasant dining experience. The hotel is very clean, with a nice pool and a wheelchair-accessible lift. The path to the beach can be challenging, with a mud puddle that may be difficult to traverse. The water pressure in the bathroom is low, except for the toilet. The hotel's location provides easy access to a beautiful beach, great for walks, with good parking and a short walk to the wide, hard sand. The hotel has a live webcam to check beach conditions, though it would be nice to have a weather station. The hotel staff is extremely helpful, and guests feel safe walking alone on the beach. The only downside is that the laundry room was out of order during one guest's stay.
