My husband and I went here for a romantic quiet evening. We were seated at the back of the table area just below a large group sitting on the upper stage area. They were so loud we couldn't talk to each other or our waitress. We asked to be seated at a bay view table and were told not. There were 5 tables available at the window. Their idea of an old fashioned was an amateur Shirley temple. The waitresses appearances were fitting to a tattoo parlor. Baggy pants, ill colored sneakers and unkept hair. During our dinner, we watched as an older women waited more than 30 minutes at the front before being greeted. The food is overpriced and so are the drinks.

One of the most amazing experiences of my life. Scott is an absolute genius in the kitchen. My salmon came out perfect! Being a master chef myself I must confess, I have met my equal! Great atmosphere, wonderful staff.

This one star review starts with the waiter's laughing when I tripped on the flooring that was coming up. I wasn't able to hear my fiance talk because of the noise level. I asked for the most simple drink in the world, an old fashioned. Came with crushed ice whole orange slice and was red because of all the cherries in the drink.... this was absolutely redicules and I think the waiter made it, an old fashioned is not a shirley temple..... The prime rib was a great turn around but the alfredo was super dry and thick. Looks like a great restaurant because of the location but it's some where I'd never recommend or return. While eating and leaving I noticed a woman standing and waiting to be seated. No one helped her and acknowledge her. Cross the bridge and go somewhere else that's worth your time.

We eat there fairly often now as the chef is excellent. If you haven't been there in awhile, check it out. We went last Friday night and it was just like the meals we've had before....excellent!

We were staying at the hotel. Went to the restaurant to try it out. I had the best cioppino!! Fabulous!! Loads of seafood!! Delicious base!! Complete bar! Good selections of wine! Service was very good!!

Prime rib excellent but the complimentary dishes also extraordinary. One of if not best meal on Florence...twice now. Highly recommend.

I can't say enough about how terrific this restaurant is. The food is consistently excellent and the service couldn't be better. I had the Chicken Parmesan. It was the best I have had since traveling in Europe in the seventies. Truly exceptional. My wife had the Linguini Al Grecco, which she said was delicious. Our server was Taylor who did an outstanding job of taking care of us. We will be back soon and will tell everyone we know what an excellent restaurant this is.

It's a small bistro and it's understandable that it's hard to get a table so my husband made a reservation a week ahead for 6 PM on the following Saturday. We'd eaten there a year before, on our anniversary, and thought it would be a nice way to celebrate the next.

Great seafood, scenery and service. Our server Andrea made excellent recommendations, we ordered the special which was a prawn fettuccine which was delicious and cod fish and chips that tasted great. The view was the best we’ve experienced over the bay, and the service was exceptional! Andrea made for an special experience & we can’t wait to come back!

We hosted a 50th wedding anniversary party in the Banquet room on the river, that the Bay View Bistro uses at this Pier Point Inn. We loved the location for an evening party. Best view in town in our opinion, at night downtown Florence is lighted beautifully. We ate at the restaurant without mentioning our interest in throwing our party there later that year and we were very impressed with the restaurant, great selection, good service and the food was excellent. We have high standards as cooks ourselves. We've been several times now, for dinner, drinks and apps, they have continued to impress us with each visit, the true mark of a good restaurant! The Banquet dinner was outstanding, rave reviews from all guests,its hard to serve a hot meal to 50 people banquet style and have the quality of the food be high, truly impressed. We choose prime rib and chicken saltimbocca. Lisa, our coordinator went out of her way to be accommodating with everything we wanted to accomplish, from having a full bar, dj and dancing, ample time to decorate, photo slide show, cake table, she oversaw the event and made sure we were happy. Highly recommend the location for your party needs and/or a fabulous meal out.
