It was our second visit to Blackdog last night and I am extremely disappointed in the food and service. We were in a group of about 8 and not once did a server ever come back after food was delivered to fill water/drinks etc. One entire order was missed and that person ended up eating their meal after everyone else had pretty much finished. Server said they would bring fries in the meantime until the 'lost' oder arrived - that never even happened. The missing meal was supposed to be cooked to Medium (burger) but it was WELL DONE. At this point we decided that there was no way they were going to listen and/or make it right, nor did they seem to care to when mentioned. Not sure we will be back with such poor service. it is a bummer as I thought we were on to something good in FG.

Great food and good atmosphere to eat the food. Had dinner on 3-20-22 quality of food was substandard food dry and cold. Need to be more attentive to customers waiting for service. Especially the manager.

Normally, when finding a spot like this, I would keep my mouth shut because I don't want it packed, but that would be unfair....Good food. We had the combo meal with brisket and burnt ends. Burnt ends were cooked perfectly and tasted good with and without bbq sauce. The brisket was amazing. Trying to think of a brisket I have had that was that moist. Was good with and without bbq sauce. We had salad and sweet potato fries as our sides. The salad was fresh and crispy, and the fries were not greasy or limpy.Will definitely go back to try other things that we did not try.Loved the layout and music. Everything was clean and well maintained .We have a new place for bbq and other things on the west side of the Portland area!

This was our first time dining as we were in town visiting family. The place gives off a sports bar vibe with several tables and booths for dining. They offer a variety of foods including BBQ dishes.
The best ribs I've EVER had. Pulled pork is good too. Excellent service.
