“Have been wanting to stop here for awhile...yesterday I finally did and I'm hooked! Had an amazing chicken, mozzarella, olive panini that totally hit the spot. Fresh ingredients, perfect size and proportion of accompaniments. I also really appreciated how the panini was wrapped and packaged so it didn't get soggy on the trip home. Jose (the owner) is also one of the friendliest, sweetest guys...outstanding customer service! I'm gonna try the Rueben next time and I already can't wait!”

“I hate to have to give this place this review but I have to tell the truth me and my granddaughter have been going there for quite some time because we love the atmosphere and we normally love the coffee but the last few months when we went in to get coffee there is absolutely no flavor whatsoever in the coffee I ordered one yesterday that was supposed to have a Kahlua and Bailey's flavor to it I had no flavor but plain old caramel it's tasted like my granddaughter same way she ordered a drink and ended up tasting just like nothing but caramel macchiato I'm very disappointed to have to say this but I sure hope you can work with your staff so that we can get the drinks back to tasting so good like they did we love going there when my granddaughter introduced me to this place I fell in love with the staff the atmosphere and the drinks you can definitely tell whatever you ordered was what you ordered please work on the staff so they can learn to make the copies the way they should be I'm just so disappointed like I said a few months ago things were great now there's a different kind of people working there and they obviously aren't trained enough to know how to make the coffees thanks so much and God bless I hope this is taken out of love not out of anger I am not angry at all I want this to be something that I'm just making you aware of so it doesn't continue happening I even ordered mint a while back for the holidays and the first time I ordered it it was delicious mint I even complemented on the fact that when you order me you got mint what you don't get other places now the last time I ordered the mint not too long ago there was no flavor again so hopefully your flavors will pick back up again I love your place it's always clean and a good atmosphere thank you so much for that and like I said hopefully we can get the flavors straightened out to where the flavor is what it's supposed to be thanks so much and God bless”

“Phil's 1500 Subs in Forest Grove makes the Auntie M, a footlong so large it took me two days to finish. On the first day, it was fresh, crisp, and delightful. Surprisingly, even on the second day, it was nearly as good as the first, avoiding the usual sogginess.

Packed with genoa, turkey, ham, and cotto, the sandwich also featured provolone, Swiss, and cheddar cheeses that made all the difference. It was so generously filled that I almost needed help holding it.

The only downside was at the register. When I handed over my credit card, I was informed they only accept cash or checks. Thankfully, I had cash on me; otherwise, I would have had to use the ATM with its hefty fee. Because of this inconvenience, I rated them four stars instead of five. Despite this, their subs are top-notch, and I've already enjoyed them three times this month.”

“I was introduced to this restaurant back before the start of the COVID pandemic, pre-2020. I got the typical dishes like the BBQ chicken, kalua pork, mac salad, etc. They were and have been FANTASTIC. But I got the Lau Lau, and I am transformed! It is absolutely phenomenal. I go to this restaurant exclusively for the Lau Lau, and when Kama'aina is closed, I just CAN'T find it sold by any other Hawaiian restaurants. There is something about this dish that is so unique to Hawaii, and the flavors and textures just can't be replicated. On other notes, everything else I have had is top quality, and I am pretty sure that they sell the best Hawaiian mac salad I've had from any restaurant in Oregon. But I will go back time and again for the Lau Lau! I hope that it will always be available, because it will be a devastating day if it is ever taken off the menu!”

“I always wanted to live next to a bakery, but that may have been a mistake. It takes all my willpower to not go there every day and fill up on their delicious treats. The desserts are so sweetly good and I'm going back to get some bread. They mostly speak Spanish, but there's a young man there that translates for English only speakers. They are very kind and friendly. The atmosphere is nothing special, but it is very clean and that's what's most important to me when ordering food. I had to change the stars from my first review. I went down and bought a sugary croissant and it was as hard as a rock. I also bought what looked like a mini bundt cake and the bottom was stale and hard. I think they over bake the quantity and it doesn't get sold quickly enough. The bread roll was soft and tasty.

Parking: There is plenty of parking as you can park on the street for free and there's a parking lot right next to it that's also free. I only live a block away so I get to walk there.”

“Stopped in on a whim and was so pleasantly surprised!For years after Teavana closed down it’s free standing stores I’ve been on the hunt for a bright and refreshing iced tea that didn’t somehow taste watered down yet filled with a ton of sugar and artificial flavors, and finally my pursuit came to an end at Black Rock!I ordered the Passion Fruit Strawberry IcedGreen Tea With Dragon Fruit and it did not disappoint! Not only was it so delicious, it was really pretty too!The atmosphere was super clean and inviting. Some people were using the table space to do some computer work, while others relaxed on the couch area. Overall cozy vibes if you are looking for a place to spend some time out of the house and either get some work done or just have a chat.The staff were all really nice, and super on top of the flow. There’s a drive through (which is also great if you’re just passing through and don’t want to get out), and they were making it happen seamlessly with the drive through, making every drink ready to order and all equally as presentable and even though it was busy were polite, composed and even took the time to answer my questions at the register and never made me feel rushed.Although I didn’t eat there, the food looked great and I definitely will be back to try it!This isn’t a critique at all but one little thing I will throw in which is, the music that was playing when I came in was Eminem and although we all know Slim Shady has some real bops, the song that was playing was pretty aggressive and objectively controversial so it did feel a pretty out of place for the overall vibe.Once the Eminem song ended and something more chill came on it did seem more fitting. That’s just my personal opinion though! No shade to anyone who was feeling the Eminem. A cool cider tasting room with inside and outside seating.They serve their own ciders, plus ciders from the Oregon-based Welsh Seven Seeds Seidr.We got a flight of all the ciders for $10. A perfect way to try everything and find what you like so you can order a full glass and sip next to their oak barrels.We liked every single cider we tried, some were dry, others sweet, but all of them reasonably balanced with nothing extreme.They even have bottles and cans of cider to go!

“Order PJ’s for the first time last night. Great pizza, terrible ordering experience. Called in my order, it’s a call center somewhere out there. Couldn’t pronounce Oregon correctly, I had to tell them we don’t have a tax here on food. He offered drive up delivery, they’d bring it to my car, got the description of my car, etc. I repeated a request 3 times before he read it back to me correctly. Waited outside in the designated spot, after 1/2 hour I went inside and got it myself. Why ask for my color and make of car if they’re not bringing it out to me? I hated the order experience, it needs to be local. But the pizza was very good.”
