This winery was great! Very kind staff and even better wines! Great place for red wines!

Not kids friendly, we had to leave because they wanted to force kids to stay at the table and did not allow to play anywhere. One of the older ladies working there was very nervous about my 1 year old touching anything. Don't come with family, might be a great place otherwise.

We loved this winery. I don’t normally like white wines, but each that I sampled was better than the last, so we ended up taking home several bottle that I was shocked to love, and will probably buy them by the case in the future. The tasting room is very nice, enjoying the outside provides great scenery and the staff were super friendly and helpful

I've been to this winery numerous times. I love everything about it except for the seating. The stools are very uncomfortable. You can hardly get your legs under the table. So my friend and I were just going to move the stools and grab a plastic chair instead but the lady saw us and looked as if we were doing something horribly wrong. She said no don't do that, waited for a bit than said you can just sit at the big table which was fine but we didn't want to take a whole table. I guess I'm just saying we spend alot when we go there so we should be comfortable where we sit. The stools should be gone.

My husband surprised me with a wine tasting, and I was impressed. I’m from the Napa area and these wines were so delish. I had never sampled a wine that was stored in terra cotta vessels before, and the staff showed us a display vessel in their testing room. An enlightening experience.
We opted for the Discovery Tasting and we were so happy with the pours. We also snacked on goat cheese and crackers, a fitting addition for the occasion.
You won’t be disappointed coming to David Hill. It’s a great property, the garden is so beautiful, and the views are splendid.

My husband and I had a nice time at David Hill Winery. Dog friendly which is a plus ❤️
We brought the doggos on Memorial Day with us. If you are bringing your pups I would suggest sitting in the Back Lawn area at the picnic tables if you put your reservation in online or by phone, that way it is more comfortable for them to sIt on the grass. Also if it is a warm sunny day, they have awnings that you can slide across on top to help keep the sun off of you. Overall, we had a nice relaxing time. Good wine, yummy snacks (we got the vegan option). Nice views, good customer service, a nice little get away for the day from the city. Chic with a laid back style as well to it. We will go back again.

Amazing experience. We stopped by on our way from Portland to Astoria with no reservations, and they gladly gave us a tasting. The service was beyond wonderful and the place itself was heavenly. Great for events and weddings (if they host them).

The wines were good and we walked the grounds with our wines during the tasting. Strongly recommend a visit if you're in the area.
