My husband surprised me with a wine tasting, and I was impressed. I’m from the Napa area and these wines were so delish. I had never sampled a wine that was stored in terra cotta vessels before, and the staff showed us a display vessel in their testing room. An enlightening experience.
We opted for the Discovery Tasting and we were so happy with the pours. We also snacked on goat cheese and crackers, a fitting addition for the occasion.
You won’t be disappointed coming to David Hill. It’s a great property, the garden is so beautiful, and the views are splendid.
Cheers! ?
The winery ladies were very kind & knowledgeable. I enjoyed every wine I tasted. It was a very beautiful property & nice experience!
One of the best wineries in Oregon! A must visit!
My husband and I had a nice time at David Hill Winery. Dog friendly which is a plus ❤️
We brought the doggos on Memorial Day with us. If you are bringing your pups I would suggest sitting in the Back Lawn area at the picnic tables if you put your reservation in online or by phone, that way it is more comfortable for them to sIt on the grass. Also if it is a warm sunny day, they have awnings that you can slide across on top to help keep the sun off of you. Overall, we had a nice relaxing time. Good wine, yummy snacks (we got the vegan option). Nice views, good customer service, a nice little get away for the day from the city. Chic with a laid back style as well to it. We will go back again.
Great wine, great service, yummy snacks, relaxing scenery. We will be back ?
Amazing experience. We stopped by on our way from Portland to Astoria with no reservations, and they gladly gave us a tasting. The service was beyond wonderful and the place itself was heavenly. Great for events and weddings (if they host them).
The wines were good and we walked the grounds with our wines during the tasting. Strongly recommend a visit if you're in the area.
Was fun and the weather is fabulous
The setting is absolutely beautiful! A stroll through the vines, lounging on the lawn while enjoying the Pinot Noir, what a treat!
The wines are mediocre at best. Today I went there with a member. The lady who greeted us was so rude to us that my friend was embarrassed and of course I will not be back. As we were walking up another guest noted that the wines are not good enough for the service to be so poor, so obviously we were not the only ones who experienced this.
Small and intimate tasting room. We learned about the new releases and everything tasted great. It was too bad that a group with two very loud children who were coughing, yelling, and running around killed the vibe. With such a small tasting room and no where for kids to run around in the winter (plenty of space outside for kids and families in the summer months), we were a bit disappointed that we couldn’t fully relax. Will be back in the summer when there is more room to move away from loud families with children.

This winery is a little slice of heaven with a short drive from home! The staff are amazing and super friendly, and so are the winemakers. The inside area is cozy and comfy. They have a great snack selection. The star of the show, however, is outside! The view you get while enjoying delicious wine is so peaceful and relaxing. I recommend getting a bottle and finding an open Adirondack chair to take it all in. I enjoyed it so much after my first visit I went back to sign up for a membership.
Unbelievably beautiful location, real quality wine and food!
Great wine and certified B corp. price could be better.

It was a good experience. We had a great wine tasting and purchased several bottles of wine along with an olive oil gift kit. And the bathrooms were great, nice and clean.
